He needs foot work and head movement! He is too stiff. He needs to learn to bob and weave more! He fought like fought backwards this fight but that’s because he was scared to fight forwards because of Tank. He isn’t a well rounded fighter but in time maybe he will be. His fight before tank was good but he forgot what he learned.
@@thechaoboy3754 why him? He needs to learn instead of thinking he already knows. He is very immature and has a big ego. He looked good in the fight before Tank then lost control of his emotions and chased wildly throwing. It’s like his is learning to be a pro as he goes. He needs to go back to amateur land for awhile!
He still turned his back a little. If he ain’t stumble him he would have been vulnerable for a shot. He’s definitely grown. Not top level yet but he’s young!
@@extraordinaryshinedetailin1121me and my bro thought he was hurt too when he did all that running but it wasn’t that. Ryan just played a little cat and mouse. A lot of those body punches Oscar threw which wasn’t a lot, were blocked. Ryan fought great tonight bro he gave a lot of different looks, and when you thought he was hurt, he was just going defensive, and along with keeping good range, he was able to find the knockout
I had to rewind that knock out bc the angle the fight showed didn't look like he even hit Oscar hard enough to knock him out. But seeing this angle makes alot more sense on how Oscar got rocked by the left hook!! In real time that Ryan left punch is unseen!!! You gotta see it in slow mow to catch it!! Damn bro hits like Bruce Lee!!
Derrick James needs to have him DRILLING his jab EVERY DAY! then have him work on his inside game. A lot of fighters these days dont have a good inside game and would rather stay on the outside and make their opponent chase them all night then run them into something. THATS COOL until you face someone who actually cuts off the ring and makes it a fight. Then they start hugging and looking to the ref to help them 🤦🏾♂️
I can see Ryan have the craziest transformation/improvement out of everyone. It almost seems like he hasn’t blossomed yet. Like, it’s all there and he has the heart but I feel like he won’t bloom until he puts an insane amount of focus and dedication to perfecting his style. He can still reach that level too since he’s so young. I can see Haney being the one who blossomed to early and Ryan being the one who ends up catching up/passing Haney and them. We shall see what happens though. Time will eventually tell.
Ryan’s problem is the fact that he drops his guard everytime he swings or moves for that matter….. i like his defense where he stretches his long arms out running from opponent
And they think Haney gonna run through Ryan easily 😂😂😂 he hits this shot to Haney he’s going down Ryan had power for his size he had all the tools to beat Haney you’ll see
He went into that Tank fight too confident and anxious. He needed that loss though in order for him to grow and eventually bloom into an elite level boxer. Ryan is going to have that Canelo effect bc after Canelo lost to Floyd, he grew to become the face of boxing and also became 3X better than he was before fighting Floyd. Ryan wouldn’t have had enough self discipline, motivation, or inspiration to realize he needs to keep perfecting his craft/stay focused and driven to finally blossom into an elite level fighter. I really believe before Ryan fought Tank, he truly thought that he was already there at that elite level and thought he had put in enough work, dedication and focus into the sport. He needed that mind opening experience in order to actually realize that he is still growing and needed to seriously keep watering/giving ALL attention to his craft in order to bloom into who he knows he can be. I’m calling that Ryan will receive the most improved fighter award in about 5 years. It doesn’t matter if you’ve lost. It matters who you fought and when you fought them. If Ryan continues to fight guys like Tank and Haney at this time of his young career, he would seriously grow very quick and have enough time to come out on top or near the top. I feel like Haney and Tank are damn near the point to where they have no more room for improvement bc they’re so good. Ryan will eventually figure it out and catch up if he really focuses and puts in 200% of his time, energy, passion, heart, and dedication into his craft and mind.
Still see the same mistake by Ryan, dropping his right hand down, when duarte reache with his. He is ok with guys like duarte but he got caught this way by campbell and davis
Yup he’s still dropping it but at least he’s aware he is lol, if he didn’t keep it up this fight then he at least put it up after he needed it and remembered 😂😂 at least that’s improvement
@@zymircook6341 Like i said yeah against Duarte but imagine Teofimo against him and ryan dropping that hand like this ! Hope he tightens it up or he gonna get punished!
from this fight it seems like since oscar duarte is in your face type of guy that he hasn't learned distance so for this reason he missed ryan and then ryan put him on skates
Well we’ve seen pictures of Ryan with Floyd recently so I’m very sure they have worked on it. You can tell just by watching Ryan testing it out against Duarte. It helped him a lot and did the job, but it wasn’t pretty or perfect. Repetition is key and he shouldn’t stop working on it just bc haters are saying he should stop doing it. He seriously needs that perfected tool in his arsenal to eventually be great. Defense, footwork and angled combos should be the top 3 things he needs to continue perfecting in order to reach that top level form.
Ryan got all the potential but needs better head movement, footwork, and needs to implement the jab more. He’s the most physically gifted out of all the new gen fighters and has god given speed but his fundamentals are horrible. He has reflexes, height, reach, speed, and power. Those are all god given attributes but if he doesn’t know how to use them there’s no point. She needs to focus and jabbing, his defense, and moving around better.
Ryan got power.. he got it just needs to learn his own style and mastermind it
Exactly what I said

Ryan's defense has increased dramatically. I just wished he used this against tank before.
The defeat of Ryan against Tank helped him to improve.
New trainer since the tank fight.
When he fought tank, he just using high guard and then left hook🤣
Hit Duarte with his bread and butter
Left tht blob of jam on his forehead 😂😂
Say what you want... But this man's left hook is a beautiful thing
I think ryan Garcia has the most dangerous left hook in Boxing🥊💪👍👑
He still turned his back a little. If he ain’t stumble him he would have been vulnerable for a shot. He’s definitely grown. Not top level yet but he’s young!
He has everything to be great just needs to stay disciplined i see potential
I believe he still hurt to the ribs. Thats what he was protecting. Thats why he was on that weird shoulder roll defense n turning his body
Yeah agree he's grown but not by much, that defense is horrible & footwork is just ugh needs a LOT of work. A TRUE 140 makes him pay easy.

Guys know it's coming and still can't avoid it!
Tank did but it’s only one tank
That hook was completely on instinct. Ryan has real gifts. Hopefully DJ's helped him realize them for the Haney fight
He sure did. One of the biggest upsets in boxing history.
Great job dropping the short videos, topped off with unbiased comments #Coach. God bless you and your family brother. Duces from L.A.Ca.
Ryan actually did pretty well. I did however expected him to put Oscar away in the fourth round.
Love King Ryan!
Ryan gotta spend some time with Amir Khan

That's easy hit up Sebastian fundora that kid is way too big for 155 but yet fights there anyway and a monster on the inside

Awesome clip.
Excellent precision , always a threat when you attack Ryan
That backhand was...weird
Thats not a check hook thats just a hook.
High level

Show me the Tank vs white-wash Ryan anyday
Nice
Bravo King Ryan
He scared to get hit its over for him
He’s gonna do this to Haney Ryan way faster than
Duarte had to get up at 7th counts to confirm his ability to fight again. His knee up too late at the nineth count.
And they think Haney gonna run through Ryan easily 😂😂😂 he hits this shot to Haney he’s going down Ryan had power for his size he had all the tools to beat Haney you’ll see

Ryan is scared of being hit which is why he always leans his head back or turn his body against his opponent, it’s a bad habit

Si García tiene poder, porque se la pasa corriendo y dando la espalda.
Dropped his hands when he pulled back a good fighter gonna notice that and set a trap
i think Mayweather needs to teach ryan his shoulder roll

He threw it a few times. In the 2nd rd Tank was able to duck under it and counter him

He literally improved massively here with all the things u said since the tank fight. And he will continue to get better
ACTORS NOT FIGHTERS!
Amateur boxer learning to be a pro as he goes…. Boxing is so political!
Ryan made the Philly shell look like💩. He was scared to execute the technique. You don't run while doing this, you counter.
Rigged Duarte wasn’t hurt he started stumbling to let Ryan know to ko him
Cope
He tried to do this with Tank and it didn’t work because tank was a little too fast and sneaky
Couldn't land that punch on tank.
Bro stop hating
Ryan looked uneasy. He looked off balance. He might beat rolly maybe. But he is not on the same level as teo or haney.
I still think he doesn’t have heart of a fighter 🥊
He won kick rocks bud
Did you see his Luke Campbell fight? He is a fighter whether you want to believe it or not.
Hop in the ring and find out for yourself😂😂
Shakurr dont
You don’t become professional to that stage without a fighting heart smh
Nothing special like i said before, i said about spence also nothing special.
He turend his back too much he got worst in a street fight his new technique will end him paralyzed poor Ryan his going down all the way.
After the left hook the right uppercut should been next than the slide off left hook again
"This missile" my arse! That was a weak hook. Duarte too an obvious dive.
