OTIS Elevator Position Indicator

  • Messing around with an Otis vacuum fluorescent display that I had at work. I believe this display is from their Series 1 fixtures on the 201/211/311/411 etc. elevators. In order for the PI display to work I had to use a SN75158 line driver IC. the PI is controlled by an STMicroelectronics STM32G4 Nucleo board with some crudely written code.

    How did you connect the indicator to power?

      Power is applied to connector J2 pins 5 and 6 with 12V, but depending on the revision of display 15V+ may need to be applied. More info about the display hookup can be found in the link in the video description.
