HB, you turned me on to ENICAR. I'm new to watch love. I can only afford the Ocean Pearl dress watches from the 70's and early 80's. Still, I enjoy them very much. Merry Christmas and thank you for sharing your time and knowledge with us!
Amazing collection of Enicar watches, Champagne one is my favorite. Just happens I have two stainless steel Enicar watches coming by mail, one standard wind, the other is automatic. Plan to service them later when I’m get my work space setup.
Mat, you are the Christian Bale of Enicar collecting. Your collection gets bigger, slims down, grows fat and then shrinks again. Incredible stuff, with the Super Graph and dress watches being my favorites. Keep on rocking in 2023
What a gift is this video for Christmas.........AMAZING! Sherpa OPS, hands down: beautiful, sturdy, and ready for duty!! Thank you sir. I enjoyed every single watch though. Merry Christmas.
Bro, you have av amazing and unique Enicar collection and I'm so glad that you wanted to share it with us! 🤗 Picking a favorite among my own collection of more then 40 vintage Enicars aint easy and will not happen but I want to mention a top 5 at least without any order: - The Sherpa Electric, such a stylish and yet technical piece! - The Sherpa Super-Jet MK II, one of the most beautiful watches ever produced by Enicar! - The Sherpa OPS MK I, black and mean! - The Sherpa Ultradive MK I with double lollipops, nuff said! - The Sherpa Graph MK III with red lollipop chronohand and paddle hands, it´s just great!
Beautifull collection. Enicaristi myself, I am the happy owner if a Sherpa star diver, various seapearls including the rarest of them all, the integrated bracelet automatic one (the Nauticar as I like to call it). According to Mr Van der Veen, it's only the second piece he has ever seen, and mine is in mint condition... A super quartz, a few star jewels... Your collections of boxes and goodies is out of this world.
Impressive Matt, I had no idea there were so many Enicar models. Out here where I am, at the butt end of Africa, Enicar doesn't seem to be a thing at all. I've seen 2 for sale, that's it.
Thanks Alan, I’m not sure about that man, I bumped into an ex Enicar dealer in Cape Town once and also saw a few Enicars in a vintage watch shop which was also in Cape Town. I cannot remember the name of it but I bought a Desotos Valjoux 72 from him for a great price and even got tax back at the airport 👍🏻💪🏻
Jeez man, that's such an awesome, collection. The Sherpa Ops and the Sherpa Guide GMT might be my faves though, such incredible timepieces, and with such undeniably cool styling and wrist presence all these years later. Just goes to show great design is truly timeless. BTW HB, you biting your nails bro? 😂My hands look about the same TBH.
Bro, you've got at least $500 worth of watches in just this video alone! haha, just kidding. Amazing and beautiful pieces. Funny presentation style. Just discovering Enicar and stumbled upon your videos. Great work!
As a newcomer to Enicar, wow, these are a bit out of my pay grade. These are like Breitling money. I was shocked. A lot of vintage Omega, Longines, etc can be had for 1k-2500 all day. Used Breitlings 5k, Enicar about the same, these are all way up there. Time to develop another income stream. :). @@HorologyBiology
Hey! I have an old Enicar that was handed down to me and I’m having a lot of trouble finding information on it. If I sent you some photos do you think you would be able to give me some information on it?!?
I have a question about one Enicar watch I have. I don't have any info about this model except that is Enicar MRO Star Jewel's 165-80-01 gold plated, supposedly the movement is AR165D. Even looked the several web browsers and web pages (Chrono24 etc..) for additional info but didn't have luck to find it, not even a single picture, can someone know more details about it. Thanks.
I’ve seen a few of these MRO watches, 1970’s I believe. I don’t know a massive amount about them but I would recommend that you get a copy of the book ‘Time for a change, discovering Vintage Enicar’ it had a mass of information about the brand
i have a Enicar…. diver 600 automatic thats all thats on the dial and i cant find any photos of this variation of watch, if you want it i will give it to you, i can email the details of it. i found it in a filing cabinet i bought
