Thanks for the video! Was there a auxiliary input jack in the back of the stereo unit ?

You had those issues because you didn't disconnect your battery prior to removing the stereo

I have an 02 Thunderbird that isn't the way mine comes out.
That is not the way my came out. I'll tell you what to do when you're tired and cooler,. Differently. Turn the key on without starting it first Heating and Air buttons to your click when you hear opening and closing then they should be working right again. My 02 Thunderbird have the same problem. And I figured it out.
And sometimes my stereo will quit well the CD player.
Mess with the controls on the steering wheel. And that'll fix it. It doesn't eject if it says error. Master control buttons on the right side of your steering wheel. Guess I'll save you three or four hundred dollars.
