Was listening to the Motorhead version of Overnight Sensation (completely different tune) but saw Courtney Cox's name and thought it was Monica from friends. The late 80's were some of the best times in my life with all the pop metal(no insult here-I loved it all!) and heavy metal coming out at that time but never got into Firehouse. I'll have to check out the studio version. Also love The Iron Maidens but didn't know any of their names.

I don't think it's the image at all. I think it's the fact that FireHouse, one of the great hair bands, can no longer get an arena to play in. So suddenly they look like a club band, despite being the original performers of some really popular songs. Cinderella had the same problem. There's very few bands that can still sell out large venues, Metallica and Def Leppard come to mind. Everyone else just kinda looks silly. Also, it doesn't help to be playing a daytime show.
Nothing lasts forever mate. Some bands were lucky to have good management,record deal etc. Firehouse debut came too late in my opinion. If they released first album in 1987,they may be bigger band,but in 90s there was not space for melodic rock in music biz. But you have to appreciate the fact the band still goes on and play live even in daytime. It's not about the money,fame or number of people in auditorium. It's about passion for music that members of Firehouse still have.
