Very nice. I had been pushing mine to get into the teen sixty’s and have been killing my bearings on the trans brake. So… I’m switching to a 2jz from the 4g. Had missed your videos the last months for some reason. Glad the rods are holding up. Probably gonna go with Manley myself.
is it still running the MaxPeeding rods, any updates to date on this build and how it's holding up, how much boost its ran on what size turbo, Horsepower and torque charts anything ?
@@fox-body not much videos on these rods, an update would be good :D since installed how many passes done, hits at x amount of boost, any signs of knock in logs etc. just good old data and your thoughts on whether you feel with turbo flow (as boost is just a number versus the flow of a given turbo...... meaning 30psi on a 52mm versus 67mm etc is not the same 30psi).... yeah give us the nitty gritty :D let us know if you think the stock rods would handle how you've driven this thing
That's an awesome 60'. From watching your videos I have your identical suspension set up but I can't get faster than a 1.31 for some reason? Can you please tell me what adjustments you've made to the front shocks and rear anti roll bar that you were talking about?? Only difference I have is the rear tires. I'm running the Mickey Thompson Pro Brackett Radial Slick. Thanks for the video!!
I tightened the front shocks a little and tied down the front end limiters so I have about 2 inches of travel. The anti roll I added more preload on the passenger side link. It leaves much straighter now and plants both tires.
Thanks man I really appreciate your help with this!!! One more question and I'll quit bugging you lol!!! So is that 7 clicks from full tight or full loose?? Thanks again!!@@fox-body
Be careful when using any aersola near your spray paint section of your garage. Dealing with cross contamination while attempting for a perfect surface prep before any paint job is very time consuming for me. I think it's so awesome to have your kids involved.
Last pass looked fast 💨 🤩
Yes it was😁

Yep still running the maxpeeding rods. This pass was a little over 30psi. I haven’t had it on a dyno so I don’t know the hp.

It would be awesome if you did a quick update on the rods.
I love your car, its good inspiration for my build. Good luck in march!
Thanks!
Amazing machine
😂
Have you weighed the car yet? I'm very interested to know the weight distribution as well, because I'm doing a unique build as well.
I weighed it at the track. 2350 without me in it. I don’t know the percentages, my guess is it’s close to 50 50.
@@fox-body Wow, that's impressively light! Maybe my goal of 2500lb race weight is achievable.
Killer 60' Kris! Congratulations! Sounded.like it hit the limiter a few times? Still looked super fast!
Thanks. Yea I had the fuel cut set to low at 7500 for my kid. I forgot to raise it. I normally shift around 8200.

Ok do you remember what clicks the front is on now? And on the rear preload you were a half turn in right? How tight is it now? Thanks!!@@fox-body
@@crazyhorseracing6130 7 clicks up front. Added about a half a turn preload.
Half a turn more preload. So a full turn.

That's fast yo
😂
I take it you still like your Maxpeedingrods rods? :D
I like that there still in one piece😆
@@fox-body Haha, go figure :D I guess they're living with your abuse at this point ;-)
