Knowles doesn't even know that this is what you call in philosophy a "dialectic." You leave the emotional things and look for objective "truths" instead of believing one emotional thing or the other. It's actually taught in Therapeutic settings called DBT, where you have to essentially "throw out" any emotional biased things you have and find objective truths about whatever problems you have. The feminists life's are so horrible because they oppress themselves through a dialectical behavior of thinking and instead of finding truths they believe the emotional lie and convince themselves its true, when objectively it is not.

In Yoga, it's the notion of overthinking. It's that so many of our problems exist in our minds, or that through our minds we create unhappiness about the challenges we face in life. There's a philosophy that suffering is an unavoidable part of life. But we can choose to be happy in spite of it or to go through life being unhappy. A good example of this would be poverty vs wealth. There are extremely poor people who are happy, even if they would like to have a little more comfort and stability in life, while there are wealthy people who have it all and still are miserable.
it's also what you choose the take on. Say drug addicts. Many especially herion addicts take their own lives because they believe they can never escape no matter how many times they try. So they get extremely depressed and they use more.
But as they get free and get help which includes therapy they get far more happy because their focus is on getting there lives together and this includes physical and emotional well-being.
So it's not thinking that makes one misserable so much as what you choose to think about and believe.
It's interesting that most the new age woke crowd cannot defend any of their beliefs. Their just told these things and have some basic talking points but when challenge they cannot defend it so they turn to personal attacks, violence or walking away.
And as it was once said. If you cannot defend your beliefs, they are not your beliefs.

Speaking on the Breakdown of the Black American Families, We are now starting to see that same breakdown in white American Families. Now days both parents work, and by the time they get off work, they are checked out emotionally, easily angered when getting homework done, stressing and rushing to get dinner fixed and kids ready for the next day. And when the kids go to bed, the house still has to be cleaned, Mom and dad dont even get time to nurture their relationship. Then add in the addiction of technology we see in alot of adults that are now passing it on to their kids as it keeps them busy. My point is that even with both parents in the home we are seeing a breakdown. Kids seeking community elsewhere. Seeking guidance elsewhere. I think children who dont have a close knitted relationship with their parents are more likely to fall prey to certain ideologies. America has a real big issue with family breakdown

I came of age in the 70s. In the early 80s in some places there were transvestites, yes, that's what they were called, sometimes also called "big-hairs" because they usually had huge wigs. I've had my fair share of debates with such people, and I've also observed others who let their opponent speak before they reply. It does work. It may not be possible to change the minds of the person you're debating with, but consider how it looks to those who are still undecided. Although I find my values most in alignment with conservatives, I never considered myself one, and also shared a lot of values with people who fell to the left of the political spectrum, particularly in areas regarding environmentalism, organic, sustainability, and such. But it took me getting to know the left to start to see the things that troubled me. My values are still very much the same as they were, but with the exception of the small few lefties who now find themselves labelled right-wing for standing up for freedom and going against certain leftist ideologies, I know longer have much in common with people on the left. My point is, at that time in my life where I didn't know the full extent of the leftist agenda, the way a speaker conducted themselves would have made a very big impression. Someone who remains calm, courteous, even to those who don't deserve it, and listens to what their opponent has to say, then responding without resorting to disrespectful behaviour, would have earned my respect, even if I disagreed with them. These are the people you want to win over. The others are lost and can't be saved. So, don't take the bait, because that's their biggest weapon against their opponents.

I have designed a "Heterosexual Pride" flag. It is half white and half black. The colours are halved via an ascending diagonal, with the white in the hoist side.
It is virtually the same as the "warning for unsportsmanlike behaviour" flag used in formula 1.
It is 2 colours to signify there are 2 sexes. It is halved to show that both sexes are equal. It is diagonal to symbolise neither sex is 'above' the other but each has their own strengths and weaknesses. It is black and white to show the issue is 'black and white', it is black and white to show the flag represents all colours and shades in between the two extremes of the colour spectrum (nothing to do with race). This flag does not align with any racial or national or political group. It can represent any heterosexual person who wants to use it.
We should adopt this flag as the heterosexual pride flag and DEMAND that it be flown on all government buildings. If they don't fly it, they are discriminating against us heterosexual people.

I did not know he was an Athiest at one point, so if anything, he's been down the road of depravity and turned it around. What I like about Mr. knowles is how he always interweaves some metaphisical discussion and some ideas which inquire into how we understand and know (dunno if I can say he has some epistemological points, as that field of study is a bit of a dangerous place); he has a very philosophical approach which is rooted in Christian values and which shows he has also questioned his own beliefs before he held them as true, necessary and worth fighting for. The speech and Q&A were both very good, and raised many good points.

I wonder how many of the outraged have expressed similar indignation when encountering the phrase "whiteness must be abolished?"
I’ve always rebelled against my peers since the 60s because so many who claimed to be victims of bullying became the bullies once they became the majority voice !
