On a side note, my teenage son did two 6 week treatments on Acutane. His skin is amazing now but there are definitely a lot of side effects

Im so sorry that you had a reaction to the Cosrx serum. Definitely give the Tretinoin a chance to work. It's a great product. I started it in my 20s, now in my 60s, and i have very few wrinkles. I love the Cosrx serum, but we're all different. Good luck with the Tretinoin. ❤❤

I have been wondering why people are recommending this product. I’m 56 and I know I’m older than you but I felt this product dried my skin out to the point where I was applying double the moisturizer I usually do. Thanks for posting this.

It probably also depends on skin types! I also was noticing some little breakouts and stopped using mine but then I had bought my mom her second bottle bc she loves it and even has friends asking her if she got some work done on her face bc she looks so youthful and glowing! So idk
Oh no! I just started my second bottle last week! I can finally find it here in Paraguay. My Korean friends do tell me that if you have shellfish allergy you should not use it. Thank you for sharing your experience.

I switched to peach slices snail rescue toner years ago because I felt Cosrx was a little too much. I use the peach slices mainly in the winter for dry skin and use it for conductor with my micro current device..

Wow, your experience sounds so similar to mine! I quit using the snail mucin because I felt like it wasn’t giving me the results other people were describing. I felt like it was working against my skin and I kept using it because I wanted it to work so badly. I started tretinoin 3 months ago and I haven’t looked back! I will keep using the Cosrx niacinamide drops, though!! I love them and they really do help keep my oily skin balanced! ❤️

I have COSRX snail and same with me- it has salycilic acid though- that’s why!
Its also problematic for anyone allergic to dust mites. I almost bough it not knowing but glad i found out.
I have it and used maybe 1/2 the bottle. I noticed it helped with hydration at application, but by the next morning my face was as a dry as it was before. So I don’t think it did anything long term. It was basically like just any other moisturizer to me. After using it for a while tho i noticed some breakouts as well. I just don’t think it was anything earth shatteringly special. Also I have questions… are these snails in a lab? Are they roaming around on the ground when their mucous is extracted? Something is just weird about it lol

I use clinique moisturizer and will Never buy from Amazon after my last experience. when I received it, it smelled different, and dried out my face!! I swear it reminded me of the yellow Vaseline intensive care lotion. You have to be careful purchasing from the many different sellers on there.

This was me but with Tula! Tula wrecked me sooooo bad. It had dairy in its ingredients and I had no idea caused horrible cystic acne it was literally a nightmare!
Yup, I’m one of those people that used it the first night and broke out like there’s no tomorrow the following morning. I tried it again the following night because it’s supposed to be hydrating, I broke out even more! Then I realized it was the snail mucin. I’m sad because everyone raves about it but I’m one of those people who broke out like crazy. I never break out, I only break out a little here and there during that time of month and when I tried it out, I was not in my time of month.
This has just started happen to me. The exact explanation of what happened to your face is going on with mine! I was loving the snail mucin but I’m going to see if I cut it out will it help.

I tried proactive. That’s how old I am. Tried tretnoin. Accutane. Nothing. DOVE regular bar soap.
I used proactiv. I think that’s why my skin issues are as bad as they are! Sadly dove soap never worked for me either lol

I can use the snail mucin serum but I tried the moisturizer and THAT broke me out and I don’t even have sensitive skin

I tried the snail musin sp? Last year from Ulta and I do have have very sensitive skin, and it made a mess of my face. I have rosacea that looks similar to red bumps or welts and what a mess. No thanks for me. Thanks for sharing

I thought i was the only one who got acne from this product. I am definitely acne prone, but the snail mucin left me with deep, cystic acne.
Yeah I definitely wouldn’t buy skin care products from Amazon.. I love the cosrx snail serum, it has dramatically reduced fine lines on my face and helps a ton with eczema on my hands!

0.025% but I’m derm told me after I get back from the beach I can move up to 0.05% so I’m going to go through another purging phase probably.. I’ll talk about it more towards the end of the year after I’m fully adjusted since it took about 3-4mo. to get fully used to 0.025%
What type of tretinoin do you use now? I also just saw a video from ‘the budget dermatologist’ on RUclips about fungal acne v. regular. The fungal one is actual caused by yeast and presents similar to what you are mentioning. I wonder if there is any connection with the product.
No, I tried treating it that way first and it didn’t do anything! I use the mylan brand tret 0.025%
