@@57dogsbody A tiny photo of him does exist. Apparently, the vocal was totally improvised on the spot, rather as Jimmy Radcliffe did on 'Breakaway' (Steve Karmen Band).
It has everything that northern soul requires. I have loved dancing to this since I was 13.
