If you watch the first real race, the Mustang pulls ahead of him and then gets gapped by 2 cars without issue. The only thing that allowed the Mustang to win was Dan's inability or want to launch his car. It makes sense, the transmission is $15k to replace and 90% of the time it is destroyed on the launch. If he knew how to or wanted launch this car, the race would have been terrible for the Mustang and Mustang fans. However, that didn't happen but it's pretty obvious from that first real race that the GTR has more power and is much faster. Looking at it again, it looks like the GTR has 15 MPH on the Mustang which is insane. Granted the Mustang added 1000 pounds to make it hook, which it still broke traction. Without the weight and from a roll it might still go to the Mustang if he can hook. He was spinning well above 80 with the extra 1000 pounds. Both vehicles are built for different purposes and would need serious work to be a fair race.

I just recently went from a 105bhp car to a 300bhp car and driving around my first car I couldn't even comprehend what 200 would feel like let alone 300. 1500 must feel like a damn rocket ship!!
I thought about it for a second, and that's actually an interesting idea haha. My Audi for whatever reason basically floors it if I up the cruise control speed by a lot in a short period

for everybody who don't undertand what is happening with the gtr is that he run a motec system. Motec system control the traction and he needed to fix is ecu because the car was lagging everytime he was digging. Is car is way faster, he just wasn't lucky and had an ecu problem.

I have an 03 Cobra with a 98cobra aluminum teksid transplanted in it with an 84mm turbo, .and watching this makes me want to go twins. I have a 50 shot on the car just to help spool the turbo, especially out of the hole because it's still a 6 spd car.. I always had fox bodies (fastest one was a N/A low compression 331 stroker 87 Lx that ran mid 12s not tuned because it had 4.10s and I had the timing at like 20 + degrees, and it ran hard for 8 years until I sold it. I had a chance to buy a blown 98 cobra convertible (which is the built motor I have in the 03) and I took it. I lost the vibes and a nitrous fox in a garage fire,luckily the cobra motor was in the shop being built at the time.
