Good luck and try not let that few with a mouth p I ll you down. They are not on a homestead starting from scratch with 4 active kids & don't forget part time job and church a least once a week. I grew up on a farm. We worked dawn to dusk non-stop. We had pigs chickens goats and raised okra to sell also our 1 acre garden. We did not have you tube but we definitely would not have had time to film. I must say that you and Steph are doing a great job. God Loves You! When someone criticizes you just tell them you will pray for them.

Brandon, I noticed one thing when you were working on your new wood chicken pen doors. You can ask Kevin about my comment. You need to put a stop on the inside of your door frames so the door stays solid and big animals cannot push the doors in. It will keep your preditors out. Having just that latch on your door doesn’t stabalize your door. You need a strip on the inside of your doorframe inside the coop. You need to do the same at the inside door frame at the top. As well as the inside of the coop along the opening of the door. This will keep the door from being pushed in. Simple fix using 2x1 strips of wood on the inside of the coop door frame. Hope this will help you out to not have any future problems with the doors. Simple fix. If we were closer, Tommy and I would come by and help you out.❤

I grew up on a farm. We worked dawn to dusk non-stop. We had pigs chickens goats and raised okra to sell also our 1 acre garden. We did not have you tube but we definitely would not have had time to film. I must say that you and Steph are doing a great job. God Loves You! When someone criticizes you just tell them you will pray for them.

Brandon, I noticed one thing when you were working on your new wood chicken pen doors. You can ask Kevin about my comment. You need to put a stop on the inside of your door frames so the door stays solid and big animals cannot push the doors in. It will keep your preditors out. Having just that latch on your door doesn’t stabalize your door. You need a strip on the inside of your doorframe inside the coop. You need to do the same at the inside door frame at the top. As well as the inside of the coop along the opening of the door. This will keep the door from being pushed in. Simple fix using 2x1 strips of wood on the inside of the coop door frame. Hope this will help you out to not have any future problems with the doors. Simple fix.

I wish so bad that I was your neighbor and could help you get everything done. You are going to fall in love with the cat. They are so loving . The cat is really to young to catch the mice. Some cats just won’t mess with mice. I would still use a mouse trap that has the flap like the old ones. Just put it where the cat can’t get to it.
