      I have not heard that one yet. It sounds like turtle mode in a way. Did you have it in turtle mode by any chance? Take the props off and go into beta flight. In the configuration main tab does the quad sit still or is it jittering around? Next go to the motors tab and spin up each motor.

    I’ve found that the worry free FPV causes my caddx vista to stop transmitting OSD. I thought it was just bad luck after a crash (I applied your stuff during the rebuild) and that the caddx was also damaged. Well, purchased a new caddx vista and installed it before applying sorry free FPV to it and it worked perfect with osd being shown. I applied worry free to the antennae connector, wires and to where the camera cable connects (prior to watching this particular video) and now it no longer transmits osd again. Don’t know if it ruins the caddx or what but I will attempt to remove all of the worry free FPV from those areas to see if it comes back. Either way you may want to put a warning in the packaging or something because it was 2 for 2 in stopping my osd from working.

    • @NelsonAerialPros

      So after painstakingly peeling and peeling I got most of it removed from the antennae area and the camera connector and thank God my OSD is back. Please provide a warning about applying to vista. I don’t know if it was the antennae or the camera connector but it was def one of the two.

    • @brandan_fpv
      @brandan_fpv  2 года назад +2

      @@NelsonAerialPros it must have been the antenna connector. My guess is it caused some sort of interference but I honestly dont know much about video transmissions and signals. I demonstrated how I use it and how It’s worked for me. I also have a video dunking a raw vista into the water showing It’s not completely necessary to even coat the vista. I will be making updated videos sometime before the new year because there is a lot I’ve learned since making this video.

    • @NelsonAerialPros
      @NelsonAerialPros 2 года назад

      @@brandan_fpv understood, no worries. I actually think it could have been the camera connector area/camera wire itself. My camera wire had a lot of bare wires (came from factory like that) at the end instead of the clean and covered look and I’m pretty certain once I thoroughly cleaned the bare wires it was good. I ultimately replaced the wire all together and didn’t reapply the coating there and all has been good.

    Hi... Thanks for the vid!...I need to waterproof a low profile GitUp F1 FPV cam to mount onto a large RC Sailboat. I am worried that if I covered it in plastic, the heat these things generate might fry it as they have breather holes in the top of the cam. • @brandan_fpv

      I’m not familiar with that cam, but I do know if you completely seal off the lens the heat of the camera will fog up the inside of the lens because of trapped moisture. I’m not sure how hot that camera runs, but it might be worth doing some bench testing with it sitting still for awhile, while on, to see if it does actually get too hot without air flow.
