    Thank you for this video, Robert. I finally learned how to create several objects at a time on the map rather than having to create them one by one. I studied your course of videos on the Su 25-T and learned how to do a whole lot there, including how to land. Please keep up the good work.

    Thank you for this basic but very clear tutorial. I myself am fairly new to DCS, and I have to admit that editor put me off a bit, especially the UI, so tutorials like this are very welcome. Thanks again, keep them coming! :) Also looking forward for your P-51 series.

    Absolutely love your tutorials. I really appreciate the time and work you put into making these videos. This tutorial has definitely made the mission editor a lot more interesting after learning all the cool things you can do. I would love to see more tutorial videos on different types of navigation within aircraft (NDB, RSBN, ILS) and how to read the kneeboard, and also how to use RWR systems effectively, as well as choosing the right armaments for a loadout. Anyway just some ideas for topics I haven't seen too many other youtubers cover yet.

    Thanks for this. I have owned DCS World (purchased a few aircraft) content probably for almost 6 years and I checked and saw I have almost 15 minutes of playtime (based on STEAM). I own the A10, Combined arms, F15, Some Mig... so it isn't just the basic game, but I opened this maybe 4 times and apparently must not have made it through the menu. I am a single player guy, love aviation, but the menu to this game and how to get single player working just annoyed me. I guess i should have looked for a tutorial like yours all this time. Anyway, if I can get some extra time away from X Plane 11 I definitely want to give this a fair shot finally. Thanks for the tutorial.

    • @Plydrms
      @Plydrms 6 лет назад

      I parked my player A-10 and an AI (skill level good) each ramp hot ready to go. I gave the AI a big box pattern set of waypoints with altitude and speed, then landing. The AI plane wants to taxi to the opposite end of runway, departing from there, not the closest end. If I change the wind direction it takes off accordingly. Also, if making a straight out waypoint and returning, the AI will circle around landing into the wind?? Is there a way to control takeoff and landing directions other than changing the wind?

    • @psyrixx
      @psyrixx  6 лет назад

      @@Plydrms I don't think so, but I haven't explored the possibility. In real world aviation you always land into the wind if you can help it (you get a bonus of being able to approach the runway 'slower' and more controlled flying into the wind) so it wouldn't surprise me if the simulation uses that same logic when the AI decides which direction to land.

      The mission editor shouldn't have had anything to do with you losing sound... but when you're in the sim try pressing Ctrl+S, I believe that's a sound toggle. I've accidentally done that a few times while flying and wondering why my sound died -- if you pressed it in the mission editor trying to save it's possible you toggled the sound there. Can the F-15C perform tasks other than Air to Air ?

    • @psyrixx

      No, the F-15C is a purely air-to-air fighter. You can program AI controlled F-15E aircraft to conduct bombing strikes (to the best of my knowledge, though I've never tried to set it up myself) but as for the user controllable F-15C it only has the ability to fly air combat missions.

    • @haramaschabrasir8662

      The F-15 was designed to be a pure air superiority fighter that only combats enemy aircraft.

      Não falo português ou espanhol muito bom - deixe-me tentar ajudar com o Google Translate. O fator mais importante parece ser o seu disco rígido, ter um SSD melhora muito o tempo de leitura das texturas do terreno e da aeronave, o que deve ajudar na gagueira. O resto do seu sistema parece bom para rodar em 1024x768 ... mas qual é a velocidade do seu laptop? O DCS World está vinculado à CPU, portanto a velocidade do seu processador também será um fator importante. Acredito que o SSD é mais importante para a gagueira. Certifique-se também de que MSAA, Profundidade de campo estão DESLIGADAS e as sombras são FLAT. Esses também parecem melhorar o desempenho.

      Using Google Translate I think you're asking if you can get into vehicles and drive them around yourself? I'm sorry if that is not what you're asking, but I don't speak Czech.
      If you have DCS: Combined Arms you can drive tanks and other military units around and use them in ground battles, but I don't believe you can drive cars yourself. If you want to create a waypoint for the car, you should be able to do that and then cycle through units in the mission using the F7 key until you are viewing the car you placed with an external camera, then follow it around that way but I don't think you can take control of the car itself and drive it around.
      If I answered the wrong question, try saying it a different way and I'll see if it helps me understand what you're trying to ask. Or if there are any Czech speakers reading the comments that can translate this to English better than Google can, please let me know! Thanks.
