"Thank you to our Kens, for being man enough to support women's work!" Love every single word of her speech but especially this one is so meaningful!! ❤❤❤
She’s a phenomenal woman 🤍 America inspired me to learn Spanish. I’m surprised this speech didn’t get the recognition it deserved. I studied representation in literature in 2015 and it still seems like a foreign concept. Hopefully by the time the next generation moves through film we will be able to see even more exceptional representations of Honduran women like yourself.
I love America Ferrera! As a Mexican-American, I feel proud that a Latina is paving a way for a lot of us who are to scared to fight for something, thank you!!
America every time I watch this speech it makes me go to tears, thank you for portraying Latina women in all of your work, truly extraordinary very powerful words
We are all worthy! Thanks you America for such and inspiring speech. What an orator! I can feel the passion in everything she says. I say America for President!!!! Wow… That would be the day, huh?
She is a beauty inside and outside we love her unconditionally and support her true nature humanity and her great hart and loving spirit I hope they were more people like her in the world and thanks to the people home recognize her and gave her the opportunity and I have to say she always does the act not many people dear to do but she does them because she believes to play the role which speaks from the heart of millions people in this world ❤❤❤and she is doing them great ❤hope see more and more from her 💕💕💕💕
Ugly Betty, How to train your Dragon, Superstore and Barbie now thats one heck of a CV, along with the Seeher award and her Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Barbie ❤😊 Congratulations America 👏🤗
I'm in tears! 🥹 what a powerful speech, I don't think I've ever seen another like it! there was no mention of her brilliant role in Superstore, so I'll add one here. I absolutely adore her 🩵
Spanish: En un hito histórico america ferrera en la pionera hondureña en inspirar su propia muñeca barbie, un logro que llena de orgullo al país catracho de 5 estrellas de corazón ❤🇭🇳
If you haven't seen America's Ted Talk speech look it up on RUclips. She gives another incredible speech there. P.S. America's strong drive for pushing society forward goes back to her great grand father who was mentioned in Time Magazine in 1924 for trying to overthrow a communist government in Honduras. It is in her DNA to be a fighter for justice !!!
Wow 😲😳 CW choice award was definitely inspiring and very interesting and incredibly awesome ever nice huh honest I definitely enjoyed this video is uquie ever nice was terrific choice award was excellent

I think she specifically wanted to shout out all her collaborators on Barbie since she’s having this great comeback in the industry because of the movie. :)
Totally I noticed the same thing and realized then that that’s her daughter in the movie but to her credit, the speech was incredibly boring and so politically correct that it put me to sleep as well. Humour is so much more powerful than preachy speeches imo.

I like her speech but as a autistic guy I don’t fully believe that part where she says everyone of all colors and genders are worthy of being seen because I don’t feel seen just used, and turned into either a political pawn or a disposable utility Ali want is liberate those under oppressive systems and be loved by my long distance girlfriend Laura who’s Latina from Colombia 🇨🇴 I don’t feel loved or safe in America 🇺🇸 anymore but I still want to help the people in it because I’d be no different then those who left me to suffer in silence all those years ago
Nothing like a millionaire who belongs not only to the 1% of the most privileged individuals in the world today, but also in the history of humanity, telling you she's oppressed and people should give her golden awards for complaining about it. Hollywood has lost its mind.
Who is she representing exactly? Her millionaire friends? Her life doesn’t reflect the lives of 99% of the people that have walked this Earth in its entire history. She’s incredibly privileged and she doesn’t speak for every latino person, and she doesn’t speak for every woman. To stand there, receive an “award” that’s clearly without any merit and just to send a political message, and tell the world that what women need to improve their lives and achieve plenitude is to watch more f*cking movies is just delusional. Hollywood lives in a bubble that is about to burst @@TShay92
That’s why that one percenter you are complaining about is so important to be given the stage and the recognition. Because before she probably became a one percenter, she too was part of the general public who wishes to be represented. So by not forgetting where she came from, she is trying to uplift the rest with her and that is why she deserves that recognition.

one thing is for sure: Every woman gets old. And if you're going to make her feel small for that, look in the fuckin mirror.

Come on, little people rarely ger awards even when they're right. Better this one percenter saying something actually worth listnening to.
