Surprised that the OMGs Ace and Pearla aren't on the list, they're probably my favourites alongside Howliday Cleo. I've been buying more vintage in 2024 and this will continue. Happy 2025 🖤

I remember collecting Barbie in the late 80s through the 90s and dude, I was SO sick of the Superstar sculpt, you wouldn't believe it. She was so pretty but overused.

I have been collecting 2000s Barbies because I missed out on them since I stopped collecting around that time. They also look so much better in playline and collector l.

That purple dress Ariel doll blew away all of my expectations. She is PERFECT to me, her dress is glitter to the max and the fabric is a dream. She is my top of the year. ❤❤❤ I also loved Ivy and Harley, it is odd that Ivy seems lower budget, but she's still gorg and I'm happy to have them both. This year went from me collecting mostly MGA to solely Mattel after the RH changes
Not getting Gaston and the Wicked male doll haunts me. I had him in my hand, put him down because I thought he’d be there for awhile, and then the website thing happened and poof he was gone 😭 G3 Venus is my absolute favorite of the year, followed very closely by Odile mermaid. I want to get multiples of her and hoard them like a dragon.
Harris Reed MH doll. I love him ( them ?). It gives me Interview with a vampire vibe...don't know why, but I got the doll & that's what I'm sticking with 😂

Yes thank you, i'd rather have Rapunzel not being able to stand on the stand because she has so much hair rather than Mattel skimping out on hair like they've done in the past. Of course i'd like a stand that works but i'd rather have the top heavy Rapunzel hair.
Odile is gorgeous but she doesn't fit the standard Barbie face because she doesn't look very friendly and reassuring; if they really want to use her as the new face of Barbie, I think they need to create a 'smiling' version of her.
My number one doll for 2024 is the Christmas Belle doll. While I like a lot of dolls that have come out this year (including me finally getting a Rainbow Brite plush doll that I’ve wanted since childhood via the 40th anniversary release that happened in 2024), she’s the only one where the moment I saw her, I was captivated by her. The last time a doll did that to me was Rainbow High’s Sabrina St Cloud who yes I do own but trying to find a new in box version was such a b1tch. Spent like half or so of a day trying to locate one that wasn’t being scalped for 100 or so dollars. And this was before the soft rebrand was even announced. Every other RH doll was reasonably priced except for her. It was insane and ridiculous. Yes I could’ve gone used but those were basically bare boned. Most had none of the accessories, some had a few or so while a literal handful had all of them, practically none came with her second outfit, others were sans clothes and I even found one in a completely different outfit. Ntm that a lot of those weren’t in the best condition and I can’t fix a messed up doll like other collectors can so I couldn’t even buy them if they did have everything and the kitchen sink.
I saw her in person she's nice but too big, and I don't collect Disney dolls. Unless they finally do a Blue Fairy doll. I only collect Disney Pinocchio stuff.
Tiana’s outfit reminds me of my mom’s house because everything was pink and green and it was built in 1858. Pink and green are very historically accurate.
