One of the best scenes in a movie full of fabulous scenes....."non-exclusive Park Avenue party."

"I am NOT tiresome". Is that not the greatest moment of this incredible film? Being tiresome is the worst sin of all; Nick will acknowledge the other allegations but cannot abide by the charge that he is tiresome. Love that!

Any time I hear a whiny, picayune objection to something, I hear Nick's "Oh this looks really bad, Nick."

35 years later and my older sister slipped an "untrammeled malevolence" into one of our recent conversations. We both laughed because she knew I'd recognize it. I introduced the movie to her and it's still one of her favorites, as it is one of mine.

I'm desperate to find it as well! I know its by an artist Jock Davis who passed away a while back. I tweeted whit stillman seven years ago about how to listen to that track (because its amazing). he responded and said he'd look into it but nothing...

It is low budget with poor audio and the characters often have a stilted manner, yet it is a curiousity allowing us to peer into a world few of us inhabit bedeviling the viewer/listener as to level of accurate depiction, like the "composite".
