Note: LeToya & LaTavia are on the chorus but you can’t hear them, as their vocals are quiet during the chorus. Beyoncé and Kelly lead the chorus, As Beyoncé doing Lead & Alto, with Kelly doing Mezzo Soprano. LeToya’s voice can be heard on ‘Love’ In the chorus, LeToya Is doing Soprano notes on the chorus. LaTavia can be heard on ‘Myself’ her accent is very prominent on that. As for her, she’s doing the bottom harmony. I hope that was understandable 😭.
This song would be perfect for opening a 5-member Destiny's Child comeback. Each of the 4 original members would get their parts in the verses: LaTavia would open the song, LeToya with the 1st pre-chorus, Beyoncé with the 2nd part, Kelly with the 2nd pre-chorus and Michelle would take the bridge from Kelly.
Am I the only one thinking about that's how all the DC4 & DC3 songs should have been sung...? :') Each member with her solo and the chorus sung by all of them. 😍
I think "I can't help myself" is the only Destiny's Child song where Matthew Knowles as the group's manager, allowed LaTavia roberson and LeToya Luckett to express their talents in the true sens of the world ... It's the only song where LaTavia and LeToya had verses to sing, not just backing vocals or harmonizing ...
This is my first time listening to this song. This should have been the way DC4 had sung all the albums. I did not understand this overdose of Beyonce all the time.

Admittedly, LaTavia and LeToya are not Beyonce and Kelly vocally speaking, which is true and explains why they never had leads in Destiny's Child, but nonetheless, they can sing in their own right, they can sing their verses and do it well, as is the case in this song, unlike replacement Farrah Franklin, who could neither sing nor harmonize ...

That’s definitely LaTavia, Im not sure about the ‘Denial’ Adlib, As It sounds more like Beyoncé’s tone & accent. But all those other Harmonies heard on Beyoncé’s verse Is LaTavia.

And Farrah would sing along with the fans in the crowd

The only song in entire DC4 catalogue where they all equally sing together.

the “woah” adlib kelly does is beautiful!!
Yessss😩 Kelly’s part is my favourite part, her Adlibs and all just gives me life.
Which is why she got minimal adlibs. Couldn't risk the possibility of showing up you know who.
#Everything!.. I even sing it in letoya's part. That's how good it is
I love Farrah and Michelle but this will always be Destiny's child
This Song should have been out and a single as well
I would love to see this performed live
We got dc 5 at the houston show …
