Lyrics:
Open eyes
The line of sight
Is clear in mind
Ascension
Covers pulled
One minute cloud the cold
The warmth deserves
A mention
We know it's far
We know it's far to go
We know it's not hard
We know it's not hard to uncover
We've been told to take the road, but that road is unprotected
And we are cold and we admit we'd much rather be defectors
It's far to go
We've said it for too long
So far to fall
We're going it alone
Each day a saint
To make it through the core
No self-restraint
We're going it alone
Sunrays shine
And so I close my eyes
Sunlight mine
And so I shut the blinds
Warmth from them
Prefer the warmth from within
High hopes dream
And so I fall asleep
SO I FALL ASLEEP
It's far to go
It's far to go
We've said it for too long
So far to fall
We're going it alone
Each day a saint
To make it through the core
No self-restraint
We're going it alone

I just dont understand how this band isnt WAY bigger than they are - utterly talented!
I think coming No. 6 in the Jury pick of Eurovision 2023 means they ar WAY bigger now LOL
Love their music.
because they are creating music between genre boundaries and purists dont like that....their Eurovision song Promise was great.....
I recently discovered these guys through Spotify. When I tell you I’m PICKY with prog, I am not exaggerating. These guys are SUBLIME.
Yes, they are amazing. I don't know why but their music shines with positivity. Even the song What A Wonderful Day which is the opposite of that, lol
Also super picky about pretty much anything I listen to, I'm not a big fan of some of their new stuff to be completely honest. Unfortunate, because I love this song's album, Ghost Mile, and The meaning of I but don't jive with their 2 newer albums. Maybe because they aren't as heavy songs, or don't incorporate as much power metal as older songs. ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
They're really good!!! Wouldn't be the best prog for me though.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 1:06 🎉🎉🎉 1:18 🎉 1:23 1:23 😢
At least one good thing came out of Eurovision......you found me or i found you.
You guys are awesome!!!!
Loving this band❤ Just discovered them through Eurovision. They really should be MEGA!
@@Akelfir It’s just as challenging to write good pop song as it is a prog metal masterpiece. They have completely combined the art of both. Look at it this way. It’s given them and the whole genre of Prog metal more exposure 😊
@@AkelfirLoser competition? They won a semi-final voting😄And gain a lot of new fans.
So rare to find a professional band with awesome songs after Eurovision. Amazing style: light, heavy and a bit crazy!
now imagine you've been listening to them for 14 YEARS wondering why nobody has heard of them.
@@Tosslehoffe 14 years already? 😮 that is something I didn't expect!
best ipod commercial ever
Logan Newbanks LMFAOOOOOOOOOO
Logan Newbanks To bad it's not. What is it with cell phone commercials always having shitty songs on them? All it does is make me want to change the channel or hit the DVR skip button.
theicedevil I wish our stuff would get used for a commercial. Maybe we might see some monies so we can tour more!! Hahaha
yeah , made by people with actual talent.
Easily one of the best songs ever created. Total perfection. So proud of my fellow Perthlings.
Absolutely 👍
Great name 😊
entire album is flawless; hands down, i've listened to it more than 300 times already :D
my girlfriend begs me to stop playing it hahaha
That's incredible hahahaha
Hahahha omfg. It's the same with me and a bandmate of mine. We have been "familiarizing" our girlfriends for months with this glorious record and "Colours in the Sun". And they both keep begging us to find something new lol. You are not alone my friend!
Same here hahahaha!
good news is i've dumped the girlfriend in the meantime, so i can listen to it whenever the funk i want :)
@@suma5939 well done.
I only recently discovered this band about a week ago, but I'm so damn glad I did. Been on repeat for the last week, my ears can't get enough.
Just discovered this band. The vocalist really adds to the -already awesome instrumental music, absolutely nutty.
My thoughts exactly, except I think the vocalist subtracts. The parts at 3:18 were great though.
If you like Voyager listen to their "Colours In The Sun" from 2019 then go back through their previous work from their. This is an amazing album
So much love for this band. Underrated.
Brandon LaFleur as always, thanks for your support
I don't think they're underrated - I think they're unheard of. Everyone who hears them rates and loves them. We got to spread the word!! One of the best bands out there.
good and important distinction between underrated and unheard
exactly what people are underrating bands? please give me a demographic of your findings. Who the fuck started this expression. Doesnt make any fucking sense xD
underrated band = Bands own fault for not marketing their music correctly and reaching out to more people. No band in history has ever been underrated. Its just a bunch of BS
I honestly daren't listen to this album in case I have a heart attack lol. I ADORE porcupine tree, C Horse, Haken, DT, Leprous, duran duran, aha, typo negative, tears for fears, synths, keytars, drums with lots of toms, sparkling arpeggiators, 80s music, DJENT and live for Prog. This is ALL those things and more. This band are STUPENDOUSLY GOOD
All that^
No wonder the name "Voyager" in Eurovision was so familiar, because I have listened to their music for long time. I was very surprised and excited when I heard about the Eurovision.
Always come back to this track. Good luck in Eurovision tomorrow Voyager!
Thank goodness for Eurovision or I may have missed out on this band and their AMAZING music!!!
I love the unpredictability, Voyager tracks always twist and turn, wave and bend in the most satisfying ways with just the right amount of poly beats. You guys rock.
I met Ashley at a drum clinic in perth and he is a great person to be friends with. He is a fucking awesome drummer and he gives Voyager that big boom!
Wow, I'm awed. So so beautiful!
That's the kind of progressive I wanna hear, with a lot of melody, not tiring with over-technical riffs and breaks.
This band is perfect.
Aphrodite' Pantheon thank you so much :)
Voyagerguitarfreek More than welcome! Best of luck ^^
You'd probably love Seventh Wonder
You'd probably like some of the Devin Townsend stuff he's absolutely epic! Very progressive and no album has the same feel, he ranges from very chill and ambient to full on prog!
Seventh Wonder or Devin Townsend aren't similar at all!
You might have better luck with Pure Reason Revolution ruclips.net/video/mbSA9dcJVlE/видео.html
... For sure!!! :)
ps. Love Devin, saw him last week at Logomo /,,/
pps. Oh yeah, love Voyager too, much needed fresh air in the prog metal scene, which is mostly turned into a wank festival 😂
Said this in the pledge comments.....just like Devin Townsend/Gojira/Living Colour etc., this band has created their own universe with sound and style and with every album continue to push and expand that universe with wonderful results. They truly put the "progressive" in prog/metal! I think the water in Australia is composed of liquid awesome.
I agree that there is something in the water over there!
OK then how about Chaos Divine and Caligula's Horse
They are both fantastic bands you might like them! Chaos Divine newest album is called Colliding Skies and Caligula's Horse newest is called Bloom. Try them!:-)
Cool glad you like them. That's the beauty of music! I love Karnivool and NeOb as well!
Saw Caligula late last year and they were awesome. Of course CD are amazing
Why am I just now hearing of this band?? This is spectacular!
I just find out I heard this band sence a long time ago. Thanks Eurovision!!! ❤❤
I keep asking the same question. HOW have Voyager passed me by until Eurovision? I'm BIG into the usual suspects (Haken, Leprous, C Horse) I do not get it?! Then Einar turns up on their album WTAF?! Anyhoo.......I'm obsessed. MEGA Excited to delve into their back catalogue
They should be a lot bigger than they are. Awesome band, only recently discovered them
Wow, progressive and melodic af, amazing!
Hello from Kazakhstan!! Chic album, every track - nectar for the ears! Well done! Keep it up!
Criminally underrated - one of the best albums of 2017!
the metal scene in australia is truly amazing right now. Be'lakor and Voyager totally redefined their respective genres.
I didn't realize Voyger has been doing this for so long. Karnivool is also another big Aussie influence on the genre
@@ToveriJuri Just seen Karnivool live in Leeds, loved it. The vocalist here sounds like VOLA's vocalist, love those guys too, similar to this album. I've seen them live too, check out Inmazes by them!
@@sonicrules666
VOLA is already one of my favorite prog bands!
Just discovered. On repeat. Perfect.
Voyager has to be the most incredible band I've heard in many years! I got this on vinyl for an anniversary gift and I can't get enough!
No words, how perfect this song is...this band is sooo bad ass!!!! Looking for one of the best songs? Here he is!!!
the way you sing sounds like Tears For Fears for me.
I LOVE THAT!
Great band.
Fantastic track. The more I listen, the more I realise how incredible they are
Thanks to Eurovision, you have new fan in the Netherlands now. Good luck!
Loving Voyager music! ...it's taking me back to great live era of late 80's/90's
I'm new to your guys music. Absolutely brilliant stuff!!!
21st Century Prog... this group leaves me speechless ..they're amazing!
I lost touch with these guys after "Meaning of I" and only recently discovered this album. I really regret not keeping up with them. This album has some of the tightest, most consistent songwriting I have heard in a long time.
One of the best songs I've ever heard easily, fookin amazing
I love the visuals in this video.
One of the best bands ever..!!! I say this truly deeply inside of my heart...as I always do...! I love you Voyager!
This needs more views.
Ash has really become world class. Love what he's brought to the band
Just recently discovered this perfection of a song and you guys, it was love at first sight.
Bask in the wonder. I was the same way. I've watched this video maybe 20 times. The awesomeness only grows.
VOGAYER THE MIGHTY MASTERS OF METAL, THE DEFINITION OF PERFECTION.
This is an IMMENSE track. Was so looking forward to seeing you guys in October 2023 in Manchester, can't wait till Oct 2024.
Took fucking Eurovision for me to find these guys 😕
One of the best songs I've heard, really like the vocals
Voyager!! So glad you guys keep making excellent music and inspire my own writing
Please come and play in Scotland - we will be the warm up act :)
Thank god for the Eurovision bring you to my attention!
You all are amazing! This album is mindblowing; I've listened to it at least a 100 times on Spotify, so I hope those royalties are raining down on you - please come to Portland, Oregon so I can hear your amazing sound waves in real-time. :D
My god, only the Aussies could do something as good as this! Crack On.
I was recommended the title track from this album and immediately became a fan! Can't believe i only just discovered them!
Great vocals, a tour with voyager and vola would be great.
God I love this band ♡ one of my favorite bands for almost 7 years. ♡ your music always makes my days better.
Total nostalgia watching this today. You guys are the most wholesome band to work with 😘
3:18 The best part!
Goosebumps!!
I heard this track from the sampler Cd on Prog Magazine. Glad I found these guys!
This song needs to be at least 15 min longer... Well done.
Awesome 👍😎❤️🇦🇺🎵
An incredibly-talented band! Worthy of far more recognition and praise than they get.
Stefan Edwards shucks ☺️
Come to Spain, please!
First discovered Karnivool. Then Voyager so now i have a good dose for the next few months…
You know who your friends are from the links they share with you, this is a superb band, powerful song, thank you, I can get through Monday now!
Unbelievably perfect!
Masterpiece
I've been listening to the V album now every day for the past 3 years, and Ghost mile as soon as it came out. Driving 40 min to my work & 40 min back home , i am so hooked, a phenomenal and incredibly superb band defo in my top 3 band list. I was born in a small place in Australia called Penola.
So to me the fact that they are Australian as well makes me so proud.
Buck Cummings thanks for leaving such an awesome comment man!! New music in the new year ;)
Please keep making this amazing music!
bands like dream theater wish they coud be so creative and original these days. Voyager stand above all in modern metal in my eyes................
Ren Kusznir thank you so much. This is truly humbling to hear :)
I really hope you guys don`t make the same mistake in the future like Leprous and tesseract did and all the other who are just a soft and bad version of theirselves now. Please stay heavy and awesome like that! It`s since Townsend and Gojira I`ve never heard something such awesome like you guys.
@@BlackHeart_RUclips_Channel I still love all those bands. I love heavy stuff, but if anyone wants to chill out, it's all good if they do. Often I love the chill stuff too.
If artists go in a different direction to what you're into, they're not bad. They're just doing their thing.
My mum taught me this lesson when I was young when I thought UB40 sucked cause they weren't like Savage Garden.
Dream Theatre are very talented but quite a lot of what they do sounds never builds on what they started with. Like they can riff like motherfuckers but sometimes there's just no musicality or heart in it, it's like an elongated jam session with Petrucci. Songs like this just pull you in and stir something and it has been fucking AGES since a band did this for me. I'm even getting like early days of Soilwork/Dark tranquillity vibes from the melody and synth work. Brilliant!
@@thisdominion9374 mate i feel ya! I usually happens every couple of years for me . Tesseract -----> Leprous -------> and now Voyager! How lucky we are to live in an age with such sick music!
I went to see VOLA playng in Paris around 1 month ago. Voyager was the opening act and the first time I listened to them. Although I like VOLA a lot, the performance of voyager was so much better! these guys deserve more recognition!
Too much beautiful ! I can't wait for the album !
10 outa 10. Go Voyager. I'm hooked.
Reminds me of the old iPod ads. Good stuff!!
Watched Voyager At Bloodstock And They Were A Highlight Of The Weekend …..Just A Great Band !
Andrew Buck thanks Andrew! We had an absolute blast there
Epic track, epic video, well done guys 👍
Still amazing. It's a perfect song.
new fan here after eurovision! I love all of your discography, voyager!!!!
God man, you guys never disappoint. This song is freakin amazing. The notes you guys hit man. Badass.
Too underrated
This... This is something else. I'm sure of it. The map didn't even point to here.
I adore the beautiful, clear vocals with the amazing sound of, well all of it.
This album is an absolute gem ! you guys deserve more support ..
Just discovered Voyager thanks to Prog Magazine UK! So glad I did, this song is divine! It has everything, killer drums, beautiful intro - that delicious guitar, heavy enough bass and vocals to die for!I now need to find out everything I can about you guys. Thanks for bringing this amazing music into my life xx
Melenie Ffowcs Williams awesome!! If you're in the U.K., it's looking promising for some shows in October ;)
i am not listen new groups for years... i locked myself in 80's. You are the one that i listen... thanks
Qué gran banda, me encanta el equilibrio entre fuerza y melodía. Saludos desde Colombia.
Uwielbiam
The atmosphere!
I met you guys at the ProgPower in 2015 since then I'm your #1 Fan in Mexico!!
I'm so keen on this song.
love this band and this song
Молодцы, ребята. Так держать!
You guys just keep getting better and better!!!!
This sounds amazing
I haven't seen a keytar look and sound so menacing.
yeah more DJENT guys !!!
Still can't get tired of this song and video! I find it brilliant! Trully deserves more views!!!!
That sound at 0:36. So incredibly refreshing. Matthew Templeman is a beast.
Arnis G he sure is ❤️
Amazing album, one of the best from 2017.
:)
Incredible work, guys and gal.
These guys are fucking awesome! They're like Dream Theatre, except they're actually good songwriters!
knordag why thank you!! ☺️
