Favourite track of many fav's from my favourite band ever. Such perfection. We Perthlings are so immensely proud of our Voyager. Check out their Eurovision '23 entry PROMISE, and another incredible track MISERY IS ONLY COMPANY among soooo many other totally awesome tracks.

They are an incredible band and even more fun to watch live. The talent, musicianship and originality is there in spades, but in a live environment they also bring an air of joyous *fun* into metal that's all too often missing.

Great reaction - they are a phenomenal band and I've followed them for about 4 years. Ascension is my top track but there are sooo many to choose from. Your "Whoa....what am I hearing here?" expression is exactly how I was when I first heard this masterpiece. And yes...Danny Estrin's voice is superb. They are a great band live, full of self deprecation and humour. The world needs more bands like this. They've just missed out on Australian Eurovision glory too. The country loved them - the squeaky clean judges played it safe. Have just clicked "Subscribe"

So glad that you enjoyed it Tommy! They're a pretty small band from my experience, its not often I find another fan when I mention them. Their sound changes a bit from album to album but I've heard it described as kinda "easy listening" metal. If you want to check out more I'd suggest The Meaning of I, Disconnected or Runaway :) Thanks for the reaction!

Hey man love your channel! I'm from the same town as these guys, have known them all a while. Unbelievable live band. Danny is such a great and funny front man and Simone can shred with the best of them. Ash the drummer is as good a person as he is a drummer. Keep featuring Voyager if you can. The best kept musical secret in the world in my opinion

I would highly highly recommend you react to a British band from Leeds called Caskets (they used to be called Captives before being forced to change their name by an Australian band of the same name in what was a real jerk move, just after being signed by Sharptone records) and their track "Signs" , off the charts vocals. I first heard them on Dreambound where this song racked up 1m+ views.

I'm a musician, but much more into song structure, rythm, chords, and so on, rather than into melody or singing. And I have to say, Danny - Voyager's singer - is probably the singer who impressed me the most with his singing melodies. You've said all there is to say about this song - one of my favourites on the Ghost Mile album - but there are other gems too: Lifeline and its second verse where he breaks the rather syncopated rythm we've heard so far to do a long phrase covering 4 bars (😲), or The Fragile Serene and the segue from the last notes of the chorus into the verse. All of this is unusual, very clever, and perfectly delivered. Oh, and they have done a song for the Eurovision contest too, it's called Dreamer, check it out! 😁

    Ey up Tommy Jack,
Have you heard their Eurovision entry yet? Obviously squeezing their epic journey schtick into three minutes has some compromises, but reactions are pretty interesting. I'm from the same city as these lads, Perth. I couldn't give a Donald Duck whether or not Australia (the best country in Europe! 😉) wins Eurovision, but I think it would be hilarious for Karrinyup to win it -- a dinky northern suburb.
