Stellar Blade surprised the hell outta me, not usually my cup of tea, but I loved that one. The combat, music, story, controls, everything was on point.
I still haven't bought either current gen console. I sold my PS4 a long time ago to pay a bill. I want to buy another one, but I've just been playing my PS3, lately 🤷🏻♂️
This is why I’m getting a modded 360. To play all those games from back then, & just have em downloaded on the console. Especially all the old Spider-Man games. But I miss Scarface a lot, there’s HUGE frame rate Issues playing it on the PS3 sadly.
It’s been fun watching your game collection grow over these last few months. I’ve been driving down the same path but I still have yet to buy a PS5. I’ve got such a big back catalog and nothing is really calling me that’s come out recently.
The only multiplayer game i enjoy is Vigor. That game gives me the feeling of being hunted because it's other real people playing and its realistic. I also recommend Remnant 2 and Remnant from the Ashes on ps4 and 5. Those games were surprisingly good. Great video thanks
I got a PS5 Slim about 3 months ago. I was Xbox One last gen, so I wanted to catch up on PS4, and check out some new PS5 exclusives as well. Gotta be honest.. I haven't played many PS5 games on it yet that weren't upgraded ports, remasters, or remakes. It seems like everything this gen is a mix of Souls-like wannabes and ''that game, but it's open-world now'' I even purchased PS1 games from the store, because I craved something familiar. Maybe it's just me. I dunno. Not many PS5 games have caught my eye. I like the console, I do, but I have no interest in Stellar Blade or the other 800 slashy jumpy games coming out.
We are in the exact same boat I got my slim in February but I’m just playing games that weren’t on Xbox one but on PS4. As well as next gen experiences since I never did play Dead Space or Demon Souls but I played them recently but I get your point, it’s nothing original anymore. The only thing I enjoy that’s original on PS5 is Helldivers and GT7, but the formula to GT7 isn’t as bad as people say it’s more of time consuming at worst and annoying at worst
@@MacyP - I have Demon's Souls remake, but I'm not great at souls games. Don't play them enough to git gud. I actually just got Dead Space remake today, but again.. another remake added to the collection. Switch isn't much different. There's an awful lot of Mario games coming out, and the rest are ports, remakes, and remasters: Link's Awakening, Tropical Freeze, Thousand Year Door, Red Dead Redemption, Saints Row 3 & 4, Hogwarts Legacy.. etc etc
@@snufftherooster93 dude I was stuck for 10 hours not even gonna lie, demon souls doesn’t tell you anything but it got me into the souls genre and I beat it about a week ago. Tbh if I died to bs I’d just dashboard to still be in human form but about 60-70 percent of the time I accepted the deaths I just want original ideas and maybe known IPs, I remember when 007 Agent Under Fire was an exclusive for PS2 for 2 years, it was a reason to buy one for $300 back in the day. Switch the only thing it has going is exclusives and great indie releases but so does PS while Xbox it’s a mixed bag unless you have a deal with Microsoft since some games release days to years later on Xbox. I literally bought hotline Miami on PS3 because it took 7 years to get ported to xbox one.
@@MacyP - I have an Xbox One, but since getting PS5 and Switch, I literally only use it for Gears of War games.. maybe Fable 2. And with Microsoft throwing its games at PlayStation and PC, I don't think I'll ever buy a Series X

Personally though I have a bad feeling fable 4 won’t be as good in terms of abilities and story for some reason, even though the old games are clunky and need a remaster because they haven’t aged well I think I’ll prefer the classics over fable 4. I want to be wrong about it but when it comes to gaming predictions I’m not wrong as much as I’d like to be

This generation has been pretty meh. The problem isn't the console its the time it takes to release games now. Xbox has been the same. 2025 for both consoles will be better. Ive been buying cheap games and just recently picked up Guardians of the Galaxy for $20 Australian. Was surprised how good it was.

I don’t know how old you are but by this time in every console lifecycle there have been tons of games to choose from. PS5 doesn’t have shit. I bought a Ps5 to play Ps4 games . 155 Ps4 games have the free 4k/60 patch . There are 669 Games that will play on a Ps5 but not on the ps4 . Most all new AA and AAA games are on the Ps5. Ps5 is well worth it .

You should try Helldivers 2 on PS5. Last time I played anything multiplayer was on PS3, and this one is the first online game I played since then and I'm having a blast. It's PvE, but it's awesome.

PS5 is my main console so I play everything on it. But this year we’ve gotten Helldivers FF7 Rebirth Stellar Blade only mid game was rise of the ronin I also played sand land and have a lot of fun with xdefiant.
