I think what's more concerning, isn't the discrepancy with Matthew, but rather the implication humanity is only a few thousand years old (since it tells all the way back to Adam specifically, and Genesis gives specific birth dates of his son's to help count). We know from archeology even just in America there are human fossils dating 20-23k years old, and even in Africa bones dating 300k. This just makes Luke 3:23 and real life archeology incompatible. How would you reconcile that? I don't mean to attack I'm just extremely curious if there is an answer to that.
Lukes gospel does talk about Joseph’s genealogy don’t try to put theory’s on it

It's just a storybook and not the word of God. The word of man is bound to make mistakes through printing. No man called Jesus existed.
Even the most atheist of scholars believe Jesus was a real Jewish man, crucified by Pontius Pilot; as noted by many historians. I would reconsider your stance on his existence, since it is categorically incorrect.
No historian, Christian or NON Christian doubt the existence of Jesus. Unfortunately, you are wrong...Sorry...
