I recently lost my 12 year old beautiful long haired orange tabby. He was so smart, like these 2, and I miss him terribly. Watching your two boys has helped. Thanks for posting them.
I am so sorry that you lost your beloved cat, I know what it's like , in time your sadness will ease , and you will be able to smile at all the happy times you shared with him . Watching Roy and Moss helps me escape too . ❤
Moss just showed learning! He grabbed that first string right away, because it worked last time. I bet if he did the puzzle again, he'd grab a string. What great kitties, though, both off them!
This totally stole my heart, I have two brothers who are just like yours, So very different in their problem solving technique, but they both get the job done. The little squeak at the end.. My word ..🥰🥰
Love your beautiful cats. It's interesting to watch them use the same individual tactics again. Luckily, Moss had more space to move around the puzzle this time. I love how Moss looks away while thinking about what to do next.
I love this! Your two inspired me to get one of these for my two (Norwegian Forest cat and Turkish Angora). We tried it for the first time today and Odin, the NFC, worked it out eventually, after some careful thought. Calypso got the top layer clear by sticking her head in and then got bored. Great toy!
I'm glad that Odin enjoyed the puzzle. Calypso is like Roy, he gets bored more easily than Moss :) I usually let them play with it for a few days than I put it away for 1 or 2 weeks so they don't get bored of the puzzle.
Such beautiful, clever cats! I love that they’re named for the beloved IT Crowd characters. Your last bit in this video reminds me of another great piece of British writing: “Please Sir, I’d like some more.” ♥️♥️
The fur of Norwegian forest cats isn't inclined to get matted. I don't know the breed's "history", but I imagine they are more "wild" than many other long-haired cats. Edit, not wild as in aggressive/ unmanagable, but as in, erh, closer to the wild cats, more adapted to being out and about than, say, Persians.
8 kilos. Wow that's the sort of cat that when it sits on your lap you know that you rooted to the chair. I would really like one. Thank you so much for sharing.
@@a_921 hi, we have one of these beautiful cats, i groom her daily as she needs the fur combed to get rid of the winter growth. and yes she will matt if i do not attend to her, and she isn't wild at all, she is the sweetest relaxed cat.
I noticed the red and yellow toy on the table. My cat has that same toy. I've taught him to bring his toys back to me after I've thrown them, so I can throw them again. Bet you don't know many cats who play Fetch.
My dog would just chew through the plexiglass. 1 week later: enjoys a snack. My cat would have simply pushed the entire puzzle off the table, then proceed from there.hunting down the treats spread across the floor.
I love love love this! I have a blue Norwegian and love watching her antics. She has my heart! I am curious about the toy and would love to have one. Can you tell me the name of it so I can buy one? It would be interesting to see if my Potato can figure it out.
I wonder why the puzzle didn't have a lid on top of it, some barrier to keep cats from accessing it from the top. Sure it's interesting seeing cats "bypassed" the puzzle as a result, but still
I didn't put the lid on deliberately. I thought that it would be interesting to see how they react to the puzzle with open top and what solution they choose. :)
my kat has somehow decided to start opening the cupboard doors,, she'll go inside and hang out, snoop around,, she won't drink water w/o 1st sticking her foot in it,,maybe checking the temp,, IDK ?
She's a smart kitty! Cats love to sleep in tight places like boxes, wardrobes, cabinets, etc. You can try to add more hiding places especially for her (cat tree, elevated cat beds, cat shelf). Cats usually like fresh water so some cats paw at their water bowl which looks like fresh running water.
Watching these two videos, Roy seems a bit more direct/blunt than Moss. Though i was impressed by Roy's moving the trays, by flicking his paw in the tube. Id love to see them both on talking buttons, that allow a cat to see. Have you seen "Billie speaks" channel on ytube? Would those devices interest you
So their main quality was persistence. They had no ability to make the connection that pulling out the little 'shelf' released the food. My dog could make the most amazing connections. I wish I'd had a video of the time our Rat Terrier From Hell chomped on to the side of his face and wouldn't let go. She was dangling from him. He sat there for a moment, thinking, then walked over to a dog bone treat lying on the floor, the RTFH swinging back and forth but not letting go. Smart Dog bent over, picked up the treat and tossed it across the room. RTFH let go, chased after it, and Smart Dog ran off and hid.
It’s not mean. Cats need stimulation and enjoy a puzzle, especially if there’s food at the end. It keeps their brain active which contribute to a cats overall health. If they didn’t enjoy the puzzle they’d walk away and yowl at their owner to give them treats the easy way.
Moss needs more of a challenge. Already got this figured out. Both are so cute, though.
It is so funny when they put their faces in the tube. Beautiful boys!
Some classic cat tactics on display here: trying to squish into small spaces, and trying to knock stuff over off a table lol
3:42 "Wait for the last seconds :)"
The last seconds: "MOAR!"
I love this! So few things make me smile, but Roy and Moss always do😀

I loved watching these boys! So much is disclosed in their body language and faces. Brilliant puzzles.
Each so different but equally smart... ❤

I'm glad you enjoyed the video ☺️
Beautiful cats..love to watch them problem solve !
What I find interesting is the fact that they never actually solve the puzzles but instead luck into alternative methods of achieving the goal.
they are so cute, this video really brings laughter
Thanks! I'm glad that it made you laugh. ☺️

They are so beautiful absolutely adorable 😻😻 the toy really keeps them busy 🙃
Hahaha. I love both of their solutions
Roy & Moss are adorable!! Wonder if they're named after the Roy & Moss characters on the British tv series "The IT Crowd"...???
Yes, it's our favorite tv show :)
Surely the British one, and not the American adaptation. My I watched a bit of the latter and too much cringe.
@@RoyandMoss Dear Kind Owner. Ich bitte im Ihre Hilfe. Ich suche dringend nach einer Arbeit
I love that show
Beautiful cats!
Roy: puzzle? What puzzle? All I see are inconveniently put food cubes >:/
Moss is the smart one!
Ügyesen megoldották mindketten, imádom őket.
Our cat (looks identical) can do this puzzle in a few seconds....maybe highly motivated!
So freakin' smart! And beautiful!
Roy found a way to make his door opening technique work on the puzzle :D
Hi my lovely Buddies 😻 Dogs are totally overrated...😼😹Wish you a happy and playful Day 😽❤️
Thank you! Have a lovely day :) 😺😺
I totally agree! Only a cat owner knows how intelligent cats are. These two beauties are amazing!
What an adorable pair of cats. Beautiful and intelligent. I bet they take alot of grooming. How large do they grow?
Thank you! They are around 8 kilos. I groom them once or twice a week in the summer and about every other day during the winter and spring.

Roy solved the puzzle their own way and even Moss the last one.
Smart kitties
And then there's my cat, who throws the entire thing on the floor and figures it out from there.
😂
My cat also. Throws the thing and fish out the meat.
It’s moss all the way for me Roy flukes it wonderful cats
You can see the moment Moss receives instructions from the mother ship
Smart🐈
I love how “well traveled” they are. Norwegian forest cats from Hungary living in Switzerland. Very sweet!
Those chicken treats looks delicious
Super inteligentes, me enacantan. ❤❤
Thank you 😊
Just got here from ICanHasCheezburger, had to go like the real video because 💖😸😸💖 and also THEY ARE NAMED ROY AND MOSS OHMYGOSH ✨💖✨
Very clever! Those dry cubes treats make my cat's voice sound raspy so I stopped giving it to her...

Thank you! Trixie Dog Activity Gambling Tower :)
I am surprised they just did not hit the toy off the table onto the floor
have you tried turning it off and on again?
:D
You named your Forest cats, Roy and Moss ? Well of course Moss is going to get a bit closer to figuring it out. :)
Yes, we did 🙂
😺 😸 👍
we have a female forest cat, she is amazing with problem solving like these two are.
I too am very food motivated

Sup-prize or surprise😂
But where’s Jen??
Proving that there’s more than one way to . . .
Did they try turning it off and back on again?
😂
OMG, do you also have a cat named Jen ? ha ha ha
We only have two cats but if we had a female cat we would name her Jen ☺️
I guess if their claws weren't trimmed they'd have a much easier time of getting the cubes out from the top
Which idiot trimmed cats claws? They do it alone during using a scratch tree.

Chickiebird parts. 8)
Was that a growl or a burp? LOL
Some of these tests were stingier than others.
Where can I buy this toy?
Almost every bigger pet supply shop in Europe sell it. I'm not sure about the USA.
There are mostly more solutions to solve a problem ... 🙃
I think I would have solved it as well. Looks not very hard.

That's just plain mean! I have a Norwegian forest cat and I would never make him work for his food.
