I use it, bought it in 2019... what to I use it for? TO LOOK at the time.... look at messages..sometimes..find my phone when I lose it. That's it lmao. I just bought it to reward myself for all the hard work I've done just like what I did for the airpods. A little flex here and there lmao.

Have had it for years since original release and highly recommend it. It’s been always on the wrist during all showering, in the pool, in the sauna, on the beach, in the sea ... saltwater can slow the crown but just rinse in tap water and it’s fine. It is as good as new - beyond belief ...
IMPORTANT NOTE:
you can actually have a working compass on roughly all Apple watches models by installing the“night sky “ app!
I tried it and it works as fine as the physical compass.
Plan on getting the series 3 for my birthday next week 😆

Paid $185 for my Series 3 38mm at Walmart last week. It is very worth the buy.
If any Apple watch isn't worth it in 2020 then no single watch on the market is worth it, unless you just want expensive jewellery on your wrist to view the time only. I was born in the 80's without even internet and just got my first Cellular S3 Watch... Come on, it's Fantastic. 👌

They’ve discontinued the series 4 because it’s basically the same and the 3 so nobody was buying it ..so series 3 is defo worth the buy if they kept it on the market .. esp if you’re trying to save money

I think the 4 was basically the 5 without the always on display which made it redundant which is why they discontinued it.

very tempting but my biggest concern is about screen size, since watch os 5, they lock most of useful watch face to only for bigger size. And because there is still no words about custom watch faces or something like that, so its kinda worrying and those 64bit processor too, it is gonna be like when iphone 5 and 5s...

Costco $289 (CAD) gps only, just got mine yesterday, only use the “workout” app pretty accurate and pushes me to my goals.

Really? I just bought mine a few days ago and I was able to turn off the always on display. It only turns on now if i push the side button.

Hi, The people who say apple slows down older devices are lying (sorta).
The rumor started because older iphones and ipads do slow down, yes, all devices do over time. But if u buy the apple watch brand new then it will have the exact same battery life and usage as it did when it was released (still the best battery of all watches bc of the display)

I found a 42mm nike cellular version for 140$. Tried to by it and it went out of stock, then found another. It went out of stock. Then the first one went back up after I bought another one. Missed out on a good deal.

I wouldn’t go for it as it’s not going to receive new updates and may lose total support from Apple. Series 3 and up are the best way to go in my opinion.

Series 1 came with series 2.... the 1st gen apple watch din get os6... research it out..so most probably u might get only os7 update thats it .. and rumours has it they gona bring big changes to watch os next year so there is a possibly they might skip series 3..not sure just a rumour.. so in my opinion no one should buy series 3 in 2020...series 4 is still a better option to get...

I think this watch still still get updated for the next two years or more. Apple wouldn’t push a product in their store if they didn’t plan to push updates to it for at least a few more years. Honestly time will tell what they really do. I agree The Apple Watch series 4 is a great buy too.
