She managed to keep doing what she loved the most all the way through her life. That kind of spirit has to live on forever.
Gosh she was only a year and half older than me. She must’ve lived one hard life. She looks way older than the age she was. I just discovered her as someone posted a Supremes song she recorded in 1973. What a voice and beauty she once was. Good to see she never stopped singing.
I saw Rene (Live) 3 times - she holds the audience captive….the best female Singer Australia has ever had. I will never understand why she never made it worldwide - her backing band is always brilliant 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Didn’t know much about this Dame so I started watching the videos from the early 80’s till now. I went from eh ok to my jaw dropping open and thinking that if she and Stevie Ray worked together the music would have been legendary !!! Much respect to you Madame !
Absolute dead set legend. The passage of the years only made that voice even more impressive. Great band to support her. Serious chops all round. What a treat for that audience.
