Fishing Boltz Lake in Kentucky Kayak Bass Fishing

- Boltz Lake in Northern Kentucky is a pretty little lake with potential for good fishing (and the occasional cow encounter!). I met my fellow Strictly Sail & Kayak Fishing Team buddy, Chris Anderson, to enjoy a day on our kayaks and see if we could find any big bass. What I learned is that Chris can catch fish on a jig... lots of fish! I caught a couple of small fish but every time I turned around Chris was holding up another jig bass! I've noticed that Boltz is oriented so that if you are at the ramp early enough you get a beautiful sunrise sky over the lake!

I love you’re commitment to fish all these lakes to practice your fishing game. You started out slow catching little micros but towards the end you were getting some big g ones, but I would advise you taking Chris with everywhere with you from now on he’s a great motivation for you, in building up your confidence and finding those secret spots and anyone with a title like that is number one in my book!!! You also had an amazing smile all day long so it must have been an awesome day on the lake for you thanks for sharing it with us tight lines take care and God bless!❤❤❤❤
Thanks! I am lucky that I am on the Strictly Sail & Kayak Fishing Team with a number of our top local anglers and nice guys like Chris, but I tend to try to do this on my own and don't go out with them that often. Need to use my resources more wisely!
nice fishing from u guys its always better fishing with a friend, wishing u the best of luck the rest of your tournament season
Thanks! It is so weird, I rarely fish with someone but tend to go out solo mostly. But you are right, it is fun to fish with a buddy!
You got this good luck on your upcoming tournament thskd for sharing!!👍🎣
Thanks!
Melissa
Nice and relaxing video Lady! You got a couple nice ones there. I can't wait to see your next video and which lake you pick for the tournament!
Fish On Lady! 🐟🐟🐟🐟
Thanks!
Looked like you were having fun! Hope you did well in the tournament.
Thanks!
I enjoyed your enthusiasm, great job grabbing those fish!
Thank you! Next time... bigger fish! :)
@GirlGoneFishing I feel ya I went out thr other day just bank fishing some and got nothing good lol. Taking the yak out today hopefully get some better ones!
I hope you had a great day out!
7:09 Fishing until the cows come home! Fun day!
🤣 This was the day I learned cows have babysitter cows, they take turns keeping watch on the littles while the rest of the moms graze, nap, or in this case swim!
Those were some nice fish!! Lol who needs a job anyway 😅
Thanks! Stupid adulting with the bills...
Brave girl. Not using a net. I did that once with a fish I should have netted. Got a treble hook in my finger PASSED the barb😢
I am very disciplined in netting every fish during tournaments, but I am practicing landing them by hand when not in a tournament. Have to learn all aspects of the sport!
Curious, u allowed the tributaries off the ohio river on the kentucky side? Bass fishing can be good to great at times
Possibly, but I am much happier when I am fishing a lake if I am alone.
@@GirlGoneFishing plus, there's alot of spiders in the tributaries. And we know how much u enjoy a visit with a spider
Keep the videos coming . Wife and I enjoy them . But if you know the fish are on a jig bite from others . Why wouldn't you throw a jig . 🤔
One of life’s great mysteries 🤣

why not drive down the ramp to get closer to the water.????
It takes me a long time (like 45 minutes) to "build" my Lynx before I am ready to launch and I don't think I should take that time blocking the ramp. I prefer to get all setup and then I can use and clear the ramp as fast as possible.
