Huh? Did you see the way Kageyama did a low toss to Tanaka and Tanaka's jump and rebound? Their movement in that scene is smooth. Maybe you're talking about the character design and artstyle.

People misunderstand the difference between a animation and art style. I think it’s the art style that people are annoyed of from some of the previous episodes like 15. But animation wise it’s still top tier, just look at that final quick if the twins how it all went . And Sorry forgoing in a rant 😅
I think in general that applies IRL too, I played footbal back in secondary school and I always generally cheered on the teams that beat us, to like reach nationals so we feel less like losers thinking the guys that beat us are really good, and It counts that we're from the same genral area
Most of these player are friends with each other, all their match were perfectly fair and usually you want the one that defeated you to win so you feels like a better loser. Also, they are reprentative of their region.
i used to do that with the enemy team that beat us back in middle school, to show support and it generally made us feel a lot better knowing that the ones that kicked our asses are a lot stronger and better than we were, because it'd make less of us feel that we didn't try hard enough during the actual matches.

Like deku from mha, he's popular but he's too typical and he's slowly becoming way too overpowered as the story progress. Hinata is actually realistic, even with his amazing speed and reflexes he's not the strongest and his power scaling isn't ridiculous. But trust me he's not unpopular at all. Oikawa, Bokuto, etc may have stood out more because they're interesting, strong characters but hinata's got qute an amount of fans as well
Memory Recall: Remember the match where Karasuno lost to Aoba Johsai? During the final point, Kageyama said the same thing like the Twins' Quick: ✅Position ✅Timing ✅Angle ✅Perfect But their shot was blocked, such Reminiscent.. ❤️
And the fact that Inarizaki's team banner says,"We Don't Need The Memories" signifies that they're saying,"We don't need to learn from the past, we just move on" Which was the opposite of what Hinata and Kageyama did, they learnt from that moment in season 1 knowing that their freak quick's speed isn't invincible and that it can be countered in other ways if you're smart enough. So that's why it was specifically only Kageyama and Hinata who blocked it and not a three-man block, since they were the ones who created the freak quick meaning they must know how to move the same speed side-by-side with the Miya twins.
Hinata is such a precious boi 😊🥰 He was the only one that took note of what coach was saying and forced everyone to slow down. And Suga was totally having a proud mama moment too 😆 Hinata and Kags both knew the power of the minus tempo attack though, and both knew they had to block it, even when everyone else hesitated 😊 Hinata's getting so good there are things he can actually match up to Kageyama with, making Kags push harder

I haven’t read the manga but I don’t think that Hinata had any intent to slow the game down. I believe that Hinata just wanted to recieve the ball and play volleyball. I literally cried when Hinata received that ball. It showed Hinata's growth, the way he hit the ball super high in order for his teammates to relax. I'm so proud of my Baby Shoyo!!! 😭❤️❤️

This was animated so well. All the parts that can be considered "weird" look exactly like the manga from my memory. Like when they show all the players just after the high pass (both inarizaki and karasuno players)
that particular scene was cause of a special guest animator leading in that scene, maybe its just me but the lack of detail of the characters makes up for the speed and fluidity of the animation (when all 5 karasuno attackers jumped for the spike). I think he animated for Hoshiumi's match earlier in S4P1, might be wrong tho the art style is similar
That's the problem I don't think any anime should look like the manga since it's an "adaptation" when an anime just copy paste every panel from the manga that's what you call a bad adaptation

Well the animation style was changed ... earlier it was more realistic abd different from the manga ... but they replicated the manga in this season...
What I love about Haikyuu the most is how the characters never lose their will to do better. They are all aware their opponents have an advantage over them in some area or the other but it never makes them lose hope, instead pushes them to do better. And I think that's something we all need to learn in life as well . That we have worked hard, it doesn't matter if we haven't reached our goals or they fall short compared to others but what matters is we are here, we have worked hard and that's enough to keep us moving forward. Sometimes the biggest ambitions aren't an achievement, it's the will to move forward, no matter how small a step or goal is that's what keeps us going.
It's actually unbelievable how good this anime has become. Also episode 25 is great. The characters seem so deep, the conversations feel very real and you really believe these characters are real. We are witnessing greatness right before our eyes and nostalgia is forming right now and we don't even realize it yet..
I love how it shows all of the past teams that they’ve defeated watching them continue to succeed on the next stage. Still allows them to be semi relevant and have a role despite already being defeated.

I think it says a lot that hinatas game defining decisions in this game were defensive rather than offensive, the high receive and final block both show how far he's come
ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE MOMENT was ball falling in KITA'S eyes. It shows how far he can think. His acceptance of failure was beyond any student can think. He understands if we've done everything then regrets will never strangle us. Take what you can from that game and keep moving on the track.
I haven't seen the manga and I don't know if it did the same dark-shade-closing-in effect like in the anime. But that was truly amazing. Before Coach Ukai even started to explain it, you could see (and feel) it. It was literally breath-taking. And then Hinata's light conquered it. A breath of fresh air.

Everything about this match is absolutely golden. Literally everyone has been on point during the inarizaki match. Hinatas high receive was so crucial for the team at that point, not enough people realise that if he hadn't done that karasuno would've lost, no wonder Sugawara cried after looking at hinata. He has come so so far from the beginning. They all have. And kageyama and hinatas block is just phenomenal. It's like they were playing against themselves so they were even more flustered and finally got to feel what their opponents do when they do their quick. Overall this is the best match ever.
i don't know why but when the twin's quick & we don't need memories scene came up.. it made me felt that the twins are the Main Character of haikyuu for a moment
I recently started watching Haikyuu (wish I'd gotten into it earlier 😭❤️) I watched this episode yesterday and even though I knew Karasuno would win, it's the process of them winning and how they get there that's important to me. Everything from the edges of the screen slowly growing darker to Hinata (sunshine) saving the team with a high ball, to Tuskki and Daichi saving the ball so amazingly, proud Suga mom and how Kageyama and Hinata blocked the twin's quick TOGETHER was just an absolute joy to watch. Damn I love this anime.
God I love how the ball barely leaves Atsumu's hands, its like he just forced it right in front of Osamu's hand not even a set he just shoved it right into his hand, I get so hyped up when I see that animation, every time.
I know it's typical for the first year duo to get the final point in games this big, but I'm so happy to see it especially this time. They read the chemistry between the twins and their newfound minus tempo. They knew that ball was going not to the Ace of the team and a top 5 hitter in all of Japan, but to Atsumu's brother. An attack that the two of them created together, being replicated just to end the rally one way or another. And Hinata finally gets a game winning block as the team's middle blocker with Kageyama, his biggest supporter backing him up. It's just beautiful
i have seen this about 20 times and it still gives me chills. Gives me a push to achieve my dream to make it to the olympics one day. For those of you who have sort of the same dream as me, i believe in you! You can do whatever you set your mind to! You have passed 100% of ur worst days, meaning better days will come in the near future. Just believe, and get that push you need!
This scene was so epic man. Love the way KageHina implicitly showed their duo was stronger than that of the twins. Also they really showed it was THEIR technique only and I'm totally here for it. Their besties chemistry is insane.
I swear, I love Hinata so much and I love how much he's improved in volleyball. The first time I watched this scene, while Sugawara was tearing up and having flashbacks of Hinata, I paused and cried my eyes out so hard. I had so many mixed emotions while crying since I was happy Hinata did that, jealous of Hinata since he's getting closer to his dream in just 1st year while I'm not, mad and sad I haven't been doing sht about mine and I'm already in 3rd year highschool and yes. I LOVE AND AM JEALOUS OF HINATA AND KARASUNO 😭❤️

Twin's Lost the final point in the same way Karasuno lost to Aoba Josai because Their setter didn't know to do the dropping set which gives spiker time to aim so The Spiker just Hit it without thinking what's gonna happen.Shows how deep the writing was done.
I taught there was something wrong with my screen when the side went black. That was such a clever way to show how they are getting tunnel vision of getting a point

I think this episode had the best animation out of this season. Definitely one of the best Haikuu episodes

I know it's typical for the first year duo to get the final point in games this big, but I'm so happy to see it especially this time. They read the chemistry between the twins and their newfound minus tempo. They knew that ball was going not to the Ace of the team and a top 5 hitter in all of Japan, but to Atsumu's brother. An attack that the two of them created together, being replicated just to end the rally one way or another. And Hinata finally gets a game winning block as the team's middle blocker with Kageyama, his biggest supporter backing him up. It's just beautiful
That slight syncopation in the music right as the ball hits the ground in Kita's eyes never fails to give me goosebumps
Idk why but this scene makes me sooo emotional even I already watched it 100 times 😭😭😭😭😭

i have seen this about 20 times and it still gives me chills. Gives me a push to achieve my dream to make it to the olympics one day. For those of you who have sort of the same dream as me, i believe in you! You can do whatever you set your mind to! You have passed 100% of ur worst days, meaning better days will come in the near future. Just believe, and get that push you need!

I swear, I love Hinata so much and I love how much he's improved in volleyball. The first time I watched this scene, while Sugawara was tearing up and having flashbacks of Hinata, I paused and cried my eyes out so hard. I had so many mixed emotions while crying since I was happy Hinata did that, jealous of Hinata since he's getting closer to his dream in just 1st year while I'm not, mad and sad I haven't been doing sht about mine and I'm already in 3rd year highschool and yes. I LOVE AND AM JEALOUS OF HINATA AND KARASUNO 😭❤️

I taught there was something wrong with my screen when the side went black. That was such a clever way to show how they are getting tunnel vision of getting a point
