wow, I got the chills when the mom called. This is amazing the cinematography was perfect, the acting was perfect, & the story was perfect. I would love to make a film like this someday.
Love the use of circles/revolutions as a symbol for time. And that revolving sequence of match cuts where the watch is always in the center of the frame is just brilliant!
16 thanks so much, the sound design was the aspect I struggled with the most on this, it’s not my forte so this really means a lot to me, thanks for watching!
Man you did that... wow unbelievable use of cinematography and music with a short dialogue very meaningful powerful message you just put out there and a very very awesome title new subscriber now
Tiger Trap Media I have the Bmpcc4k and I’m trying to get a clean Image wondering if you would do a review of some sort on how to get good image quality out of it?
What can I say. It is totally amazing. the cinematography was perfect, the acting was perfect, & the story was perfect. The angles were on point. I'm totally inspired.
Omg I’ve been watching bmpcc short flicks and they’re okay, some not graded well, or some with no punch. When I finished this I could tell you have an eye for shots and story. Also, most importantly I was moved. Great editing and sound/music. Keep doing more.
Wow! This is such a great film! I love the story and especially the cinematography. The panning shot, turning with the car was just perfect, a literal pivotal moment. The shots showed just enough information to move the story into the next scene and gave us a chance to linger on its beauty. Two thumbs, way up!
I like the detailed points some Directors make knowing that most won't catch it and it doesn't matter because they do it for themselves because it's art. Like placing the watch on the tombstone when the face reads: 2:45pm and it's placed at the 2:45 mark in the movie. That stuff is cool to me. Looking back at the 0:14 mark when they show the wall clock, I may have put it at 9:10am to be the mirrored image of 2:45pm but Im sure they have their reasons. This film is an excellent example of " Show, don't Tell."
I love how up until he found the watch and read there note all of the shots were still & there was little to no camera movement. In my my opinion it signified his stagnancy and complacency. And once he decided to live his life & not waste a second there was much more camera movement.
So glad you picked up on that! It’s amazing what subtle choices in camera movement can make in the feel of the story; it’s something I try to pay attention to when I plan my shoots. Thank you for watching and for your kind words
Wow! That was epic🖤 story was great, lighting was perfect cinematography was great The editing need it a little bit of work but still dude it's amazing ❤️ well done. I'd like to know how many people worked on this project aside from u and the actor Was there any focus puller?
Omar Sherief thanks man! I appreciate the kind words and feedback. The edit isn’t done in my eyes but I had a time crunch to submit it so I had to accept it as is haha. As for production it was just me, the actor, and I had a friend help me with some stuff, no focus puller, I wish haha
Beautiful work!!! I loved the circling motion transitions, crazy awesome! You shouldve gave that watch to your son! Lol I liked how you let your beard grow and showed white hairs in their looking like alot of years have passed by, really captured that story in your footage! I see why you won Best Short Film! Congrats!
Thanks for watching! And thank you for the kind words. This was my first short film and after years of professional work some of these frames are still some of my favorites :)
I'm looking to buy a laptop to edit my bmpcc4k braw files(hd,2k and maybe some 4k) on Davinci Resolve 16. Do you mind if I ask you and whoever here willing to answer: #1. Are you using a PC or MacBook? #2. What processor ae you using? #3. What Ram? #4. What graphics card(integrated or dedicated)? Thanks, Carl
@@ryanmargetts You publish after a very long gap. You got 1K like on your creation and still just two posts afterwards. We are waiting for another masterpiece.

Sometimes we forget that once we’re immersed in the story, we forget what was it shot on. Well done
