How would you do a King Kong style kaiju suit?
@@Lee-Darin I imagine it’s not to different. The hair for werewolf suits are usually individually added, but there probably are ways to add like pelts of fur. But to be fair, King Kong was stop motion for a reason

But I like how realistic Rick Baker did his Gorilla suit for King Kong 1976.

I REALLY want to see a return of suitmation in modern cinema specifically the Godzilla Franchise. I'm not saying make a cinematic universe with suitmation(though that would be pretty dope) just maybe one stand alone movie. Image what we could do with the advance camera workings and animatronics we have excess to today. we could make a Godzilla suit that can actually breath blue flames. And not to mention the sets, today in 2021 we can't tell the difference between a Doritos bag and a cake that looks like a Doritos bag. Give some professionals some dry wall, model pant, other materials that I'm unaware of, and a lot of money and you got yourself an extremely realistic model city (and some Pyrotechnicians to destroy said city). All I'm saying is, suitmation is a dying if not already dead art and it needs a revival. hopefully this does end up happening, but I hope they don't use a lot of CGI on it. not I'm saying there's anything wrong with a little CGI but to much would kinda mess with the art. I mean sure, the 2014 Godzilla movie was freaking awesome! The astounding visuals and dark lighting made Godzilla so realistic looking. But I kinda feel like the suitmation in Godzilla is one of the biggest thing that make Godzilla, well... Godzilla. You could say that CGI productions are way higher quality and an Improvement on the Godzilla franchise, and I hear you. And sure the CGI monsterverse productions are big movie block busters that rake in MILLIONS in box office with each movie. And maybe I'm being bold in saying this here, But there have been talks and rumors of the monsterverse canceling. One wrong move or a few more bad movies and there done for. unlike there predecessors, the Disney level unstoppable juggernaut that was the Godzilla Toho suitmation productions that's lasted for over 60 YEARS! and the WB ones are barely lasting the decade. A return of suitmation will give us a sence of nostalgia and "could" bring in a hefty prophet. And if not, well then I guess we can all rest easy knowing that we tried and no matter how bad the movie, we will never lose the nostalgia, a tribute to what Godzilla really is...

So is this a movie, come on I wanna see the final product I love suit mation when it's done right. I've watched alot of the Millennium Godzilla movies and the peak of suit mation, the Heise Gamera trilogy. The first one is okay but the 2nd and 3rd are peak cinema in general
