Thank you SOOOO much! Holy crap! I am not a technological person at all, but thanks to your instructions, I was able to fix my laptop all on my own. Funny thing is, I paid $700 for someone else to do it less than a year ago, and now that I got a look on the inside, I saw that they did it wrong, which is why my screen went faulty, again! This was fantastic, I can not say enough good things about your instruction. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

GREAT VIDEO! I was probably too wired up in coffee to be handling those screws , but it went flawless ( I sketched a drawing of layout and placed screws in there spots after removing ) . Any one using video ,WATCH till end , I was too excited to try it out , and was hugely disappointed when it didn’t power up …. Only to learn at end of video , that must power up with the charger ! … bam … it was a success , saved me atound $700 to get fixed or $1700 for new one . Can’t find a better video ! Thank you !

Thank you so much! Such a well structured walkthrough of how to do it. Even I was able to do it. Even if the screen I bought for replacement isn't the best its still better than paying $600+ apple wanted for a screen replacement. I was able to get a screen for $200. I went to apple to get it replaced. They took forever to get me seated. Told me I had to wait 3-5 days for the monitor to be delived to them then another 3-5 for it to get fixed. They were asking for $600. Thanks to you brother I did in about $200

I replaced my screen with a salvaged screen from another macbook, but I assume you still need to get them calibrated either way?

I put everything back together and wifi still works. Do you know what the "far left/shortest" cable does? I am guessing she will have reduced signal on one of the bands but the other might be fine.

Question. I installed everything the way you told me to and it works but the screen closes easily when I close it like it’s a little loose. Is this because I didn’t tighten the 3 screws on each side a certain way or is it the screen itself? I want to know before I contact the seller. Other than that, everything works perfectly fine and lights up! Please help me with this one question though!
