I loved seeing your process of building this! It takes me back to when I used to engineer pinball machines and vehicles with all these functions as a kid lol. Never anything with MindStorms and always more basic... always a lot of fun though.
Awesome--can't wait to show it to my son! Thanks for sharing your awesome designs! We had made your Boost candy launcher several years and it was of our favorites!
This is absolutely genius! I would love to have the instructions! I love when you make a video about the Lego mindstorms 51515 because I have that set. I really love you videos, JK Brickworks :)
I wish people like you worked for Lego. Most of your builds are much more interesting than the sets that Lego makes. I wish the Creative sets were more STEM based and/or thought provoking.
Surprisingly similar to how a battery operated Nerf gun works. Just like this model, a blaster has a pusher mechanism that pushes the darts into the high speed flywheels. That being said, it is mechanically operated if the blaster is semi-automatic because an arm inside the gun corresponds with the trigger and when it is fired, the arm launches the dart into the flywheels. Fully automatic dart blasters work via an electric pusher motor that does all the work when you hold the trigger, or there is a conveyor belt that feeds the ammo into the flywheels, the conveyor belt being found in fewer blasters such as the Elite Hyperfire or a couple of different blasters in Nerf’s Rival sub-series.
If you don’t hand out candy this way what are even doing this for? Haha These types of projects make me really excited. Electro-mechanical designs with some sort of program is what I went to school for: mechatronics
They're called Smarties here in the US, so we aren't wrong in calling them that. But thank you for letting us know why he called it a rocket launcher rather than a smarties launcher.
Turn on captions for some insight into the build.
Skip to 5:20 to see it in action.
yo poggers build
Great build like always! Will there be instructions on your website?
Where can you find that sorting tray?
@@dumbass_rodent Yes, hopefully in the next week.
@@victorapolozan7943 I wish I could tell you. I bought it 20 years ago from Home Depot, but I can't find it anymore. I wish I could buy another one.
I love how genuine your excitement was at 6:11
Indeed! That was probably the 4th time filming that sequence without much success, so we were very excited to actually get some in. :)
the wife: “ohh :0” “yeah! :D”
she seems really supportive to her husband’s creation
Living in Jason's neighborhood as a kid must be awesome
That’s pretty dope!
Ey, love ur videos
How is this comment so underliked?
Btw I love your videos I've been watching since you had a couple thousand subs
Hi
Every year you make some wacky and incredible contraption for Halloween and I love it, and I bet the kids do to.
Are you a lego brick that I stepped on accidentaly? Your name says you're an invisible cactus
cool, now use actual rockets
Yes
Lol
@JacobNerfs I don't think the person who built that is a child...
He already did
Lol 😆🤣😂😹😆
Everytime I watch JK Brickworks, the first thing I do is turn on captions, he's a genius!
Perfect timing for trick or treat. :)
I love these every year! Excellent shooter!
I wised I never saw any of your videos. That way I could watch them all this morning and relive all the amazing things you do with lego.
His creativity knows no bounds
Such a great build again! 👏
Another great build for this time of the year again ! Always love your design process.
Wow!! This is an amazing build!
Nice build
I really love this lego asmr
Brilliant, as always!

I wish Lego would hire people like JK Brickworks. IMHO, Stuff like this is more interesting than what Lego normally does.
Awesome--can't wait to show it to my son! Thanks for sharing your awesome designs! We had made your Boost candy launcher several years and it was of our favorites!
That's great to hear. Glad you liked it!
I love all of your cretions, and this one is right there near the top! Great design!
The sound of that battery is excellent I like it
Nice thing you made
ooo, they're rockets and not smarties! canada represent!
That's bloody brilliant.
I love every single of your building videos
Always a pleasure watching you build

Thanks so much! Instructions will hopefully be posted in the next week on my website.
OMG i cant wait to build it!
It returns!
Well done!
Very nice
Asmr
Awesome, you built what basically is a Nerf flywheel!
You're an old kid and that's pretty fun to see 😁
So cool 👍
Fun fun fun!
Awww so cool,Lego machine
Thankyou for sharing, awsome creation!!!
this is so cool!
I'll have to get myself the new mindstorms
The definition of smarties becomes lethal
We love your stuff!
Mad respect this guy is a genius
Great video and build i can't wait for the instructions to try one myself. 🙂👍✌
The future of handing out candy to kids in the covid era haha
Until you have one hard candy and Alec Baldwin happens.
Not sure if his house would be extremely popular or extremely unpopular if he scaled this up to full sized candy bars.
Just watch out for the lollipops
Nice video keep it up!
It very amazing!
Imma build this I’ve been looking for things to build for a long time!
Amazing, truly a good job
PLEASE post instructions. This is so freaking cool!
Yesssssssssss he’s back with another
This is OP Dude
Love the video keep up the good work.
Perfect ! i love it.
You earned a sub
so satisfying
Aawweessoommee!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰🥰🥰💓💓💕💞💛💛💗💗😍😍💖💖❤️
Great fun, love it.
Well, that's refreshing for UK people :-)
Already seeing in new year team fortress update: happy new skin! Candy man for heavy class!
You using my favourite program, Scratch :D
Nice job
this is so cool
Damn there's a new Mindstorms? How many motors come with it? I used to have the NXT set which came with 3 massive bulky motors haha
I think he said 4 motors
The Lego mindstorms 2020 kit 51515 comes With 4 motors, 2 sensors, a lot of teal, white and Black pieces and a hub.
I never had NXT, I wanted it but I now have 2 EV3 sets. This new stuff looks good, the motors have absolute positions or something in them.
@@emilba2424 whats the price
Those teal bricks looks so cool
i thought this was going to be an actual rocket launcher... i am surprised but not disappointed
EXCELLENT!
so cool!
The best kind of clickbait is when it technically isn't. Great job man!
I love halloweentime at JK brickworks! Keep on building Jason, another fantastic and mildly spooky reason to come to your house for halloween!
so nice
The new Mindstorms is so underrated in my opinion!
so cool
No one man should have all this power
I think you've won Halloween for your neighborhood!
i love this so much good god
I love Legos
I see what you did there :D
Cool
Cool!!!!
Fun!
Would love to build one of these, and attempt to put it on tracks
JK is preparing for the Lego apocalypse.
Happy Halloween 🎃 👻
good!
Hahahahha! Crushed it again!!!!

Next stage is setting it up on the porch for Halloween and have some fun!

The sweets look more like sweets sold here in the UK as Fizzers. What we know as Smarties is a completely different sweet
Doooooooooope 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏🤙
Haha I seriously thought I was watching Brick Experiments for a while there
Yes
I love rocket
when you told rocket launcher i thout your going to do it with a lego rocket, and liked this video. but now i know it was with rocket toffees
I wish this guy taught classes on Lego.
This has strong Brick Experiment Channel vibes
Literally shitting my brains out atm but the video is keeping me going 😫😫
*reverently checks comments for someone calling it smarties and not rockets, they're rockets
They're called Smarties here in the US, so we aren't wrong in calling them that. But thank you for letting us know why he called it a rocket launcher rather than a smarties launcher.
Also, captions
me who is eating smarties: hmm lets check this video out
JK Brickworks: LETS USE SOME SMARTIES
me: what a coincidence
in the us, the candies are called "smarties", I sometimes call them "Smart pills"
fun fact: its called rockets in canada but smarties in other countries, to remove confusion with the other smarties we canadians have
cool
