The pain and love in her ex's eyes and voice is so gut wrenching. It takes a very good man to come back from addiction, know when to leave toxic situations, and also stay by her side, take care of her, and guide her towards their shared dream of sobriety. The world needs more men like him.
Meth, legal heroin, lack of sleep, vodka, adderal, anxiety ... her brain is literally short circuiting and sending out SOS signals to her entire body which is causing her to flush around like that.. I cant imagine the brain damage she is causing for herself. I overdosed on heroin once, and my friends shot me up with meth to wake me up. This is how I was. I had no control over my movements my body made and the things I was saying were random and incoherent for the most part.

You have to let these type of people hit complete rock bottom so they understand their problem.

I managed to get clean by myself without rehab as there is none where I live, I just wanted it so bad that I managed to stop but it’s been a very long hard journey and I feel as though I’ve waisted a huge amount of years. I’m now 28 just like her and it makes me so so sad 😞 🙏 pray for Cassie guys, that she wants something more in life than this

I've been in Social Services for 22 years. For every 100 addicts that go to rehab, only 3 to 7 of them will have any long term success. These numbers have always made me incredibly sad. My heart goes out to all addicts and the people who love them.

I have two main thoughts on this. Dr. Phil has resources (read: money) because he has a show. If they aren't televised, he'll lose the ability to help as many people. Diagnostic and Rehab centers aren't free. Drug and alcohol tests aren't free. Lie detector tests, private investigators, and any other resources they may need aren't free, so they either get advertisement and/or payment from the show. Either way, a lot of peyote would be out of luck. My second thought is about education. People don't know what some disorders look like or how to help someone with a mental illness or addiction. The 40ish minutes shown on TV don't fix anyone, but it helps to give people a place to start from.
I’ve been in cassies situation. I get it. You need people to love you and come from compassion. My family had an intervention for me and I went to treatment. I am now 2 years clean & sober and I truly hope she gets the help she deserves
I have a friend like this. It hurts to see someone turn into a completely different person. This is the end result of a meth binge and the saddest part is that they stay like that even after quitting.

I’ve read the rehab they send them to is horrible and most leave do to the conditions, the ones that do get clean I’ve READ(so my not be true) that they had to use other rehabs and the Dr.Phil show would flaunt the ones that got “sober” ( also heard most were only a month sober but the show pays them to credit the show and it’s rehab and lie about how long they have been sober for viewers and also pluck out the worst ones for the same reason and they say it’s because they didn’t follow his “program”). Another thing, that surprised me, was that Dr.Phil can’t legally practice medicine so technically he’s not a doctor, that’s just his stage name.

Truth is, many people that are in the same situation as this young lady struggle to become sober no matter how hard they try or how much support they recieve. Yes, Dr. P does not have a licence to practice ATM, hence why he doesn't diagnose, prescribe, or facilitate ongoing therapy personally. Dr. P doesn't practice anymore and does not need to be licensed to be called Dr. His credentials, experience and work history is valid. He gives his advice/opinion and guides individuals to licensed medical care professionals that can. Im sure there are negitive things we don't know about the show, as well as what positive effects that play out after the show.

This is hard to watch cause I've seen friends tweak out like this and I've been like this before too. She wants help and she has genuine love for her family. Being a former addict I understand how hard it is to even stop thinking about the drug but I cant even imagine to be like this.

And it might take time for to undestand that and that’s ok. But ask God to help you through those tough times because he’s the most powerful to help anybody. People may try to help but God can do way more to help people like this woman and just everybody in general from the brokenness that you have as such as myself. I’m currently going through a lot myself. Maybe not this problem in particular but it’s a huge on going stressful situation that I’m currently going through. So it’s frustrating and I can understand living with somebody who does this is not easy and just trying to be patient is important. If she’s having seizures from withdrawal, she’s very blessed that she didn’t die!!! Y’all can’t make that kind of drinker stop cold turkey that way! I was one myself and flatlined for 6 minutes after a grand mal seizure. Because I had to move in with my parents and they wouldn’t allow me to get any alcohol! Even tho they know how dangerous withdrawal can be. You can not ask an alcoholic to go cold turkey.

I’ve been in cassies situation. I get it. You need people to love you and come from compassion. My family had an intervention for me and I went to treatment. I am now 2 years clean & sober and I truly hope she gets the help she deserves

I feel horrible for her, I get that gets a drug addict I’ve had to deal with it bc of my parents. I pray she gets the help she needs so she can get her life back on track and actually have a meaning in life.

I would like to see an update many years from now letting us know she was able to overcome addiction, get her life together, have a happy family and that she eventually died of old age. Not young and alone in some alley.

I’ve read the rehab they send them to is horrible and most leave do to the conditions, the ones that do get clean I’ve READ(so my not be true) that they had to use other rehabs and the Dr.Phil show would flaunt the ones that got “sober” ( also heard most were only a month sober but the show pays them to credit the show and it’s rehab and lie about how long they have been sober for viewers and also pluck out the worst ones for the same reason and they say it’s because they didn’t follow his “program”). Another thing, that surprised me, was that Dr.Phil can’t legally practice medicine so technically he’s not a doctor, that’s just his stage name.
@@jutjammin7778 hmmmm, I've never looked into places he sends people to. He sure portrays them well anyways. Truth is, many people that are in the same situation as this young lady struggle to become sober no matter how hard they try or how much support they recieve. Sadly enough that's probably why we don't see many updates unless you really dig for the updates on past guests. Yes, Dr. P does not have a licence to practice ATM, hence why he doesn't diagnose, prescribe, or facilitate ongoing therapy personally. Dr. P doesn't practice anymore and does not need to be licensed to be called Dr. His credentials, experience and work history is valid. He gives his advice/opinion and guides individuals to licensed medical care professionals that can. Im sure there are negitive things we don't know about the show, as well as what positive effects that play out after the show.

This is really really sad to watch. I'm an alcoholic in early recovery and watching these things break my heart but also help keep me sober. I hope she got help.

This is hard so watch I lost my brother last year to drink and drugs I actually did save his life on numerous times I followed him around from 9 year old because I was so scared he would be in someone house and die at least if I was with him I could get him help

This is hard to watch cause I've seen friends tweak out like this and I've been like this before too. She wants help and she has genuine love for her family. Being a former addict I understand how hard it is to even stop thinking about the drug but I cant even imagine to be like this.

But she seems like she does these drugs and is excessively drinking because of what’s she’s been through. It’s like an escape for people who’s done drugs and and drink alcohol excessively. I’ve never done any drugs and alcohol and never plan on doing it. But people who over do they are harming their bodies and even their brain. And it’s heartbreaking to see this and it’s frustrating like cmon people don’t you understand your harming yourselves especially the people you love and they are unable to change at that time. And it might take time for to undestand that and that’s ok. But ask God to help you through those tough times because he’s the most powerful to help anybody. People may try to help but God can do way more to help people like this woman and just everybody in general from the brokenness that you have as such as myself. I’m currently going through a lot myself. Maybe not this problem in particular but it’s a huge on going stressful situation that I’m currently going through. So it’s frustrating and I can understand living with somebody who does this is not easy and just trying to be patient is important. If she’s having seizures from withdrawal, she’s very blessed that she didn’t die!!! Y’all can’t make that kind of drinker stop cold turkey that way! I was one myself and flatlined for 6 minutes after a grand mal seizure. Because I had to move in with my parents and they wouldn’t allow me to get any alcohol! Even tho they know how dangerous withdrawal can be. You can not ask an alcoholic to go cold turkey.
