my mom was an alcoholic and the only thing she asked of me was for me to never give up on her and i never did. she passed away in 2019 from cerosis of the liver from drinking
I’m glad you never gave up on her. You will never know how much that truly meant to youre mother that you stayed by her side and loved her unconditionally. Sorry I’m an addict and I’m struggling really bad with staying clean. I’m 27 and have lost 2 gfs and the love of my life cuz of my relapses. Anyway, may youre mom RIP🙏🏻
This is such an emotional episode for me. You can see the pain and the embarrassment in the woman’s eyes and face when she is held accountable by Dr Phill and told the truth about her situations. But you can also see the hope she feels from the help Dr Phill offered her. It is actually so emotional to see the impact that Dr Phill has on peoples lives.
I feel so bad for her. She looks terrified to quit, her body is dependent on it. I am sure part of her wants to, but she is scared of the change.

Man I’ve never struggled with any addictions but I felt for her in this situation. Very difficult decision, I hope she got the help she needed
She has to want it for herself. No one can do it for her. I hope she has had her last bottom and truly does the work to get better.
Reminds me of a family member. I hope she gets the help she asks for.

If alcohol was discovered today it would be an illegal drug for sure, ruins families and lives
My late husband was a alcoholic he never stopped even though he tried many times,this woman is to far gone,she is looking for a easy way out at this moment
I’m so sorry that happened to you. I hope you’re doing okay. Just so you know, there’s a follow up episode where this woman did make a miracle recovery. I wish you could tell the same story for your husband. Don’t lose hope in the blessing of recovery for everyone though. Wishing you well.

She is scared straight. I feel very sorry for her and hope she is successful in treatment. I hope the family abides by Dr Phil’s agreement and don’t enable her anymore. This is a hopeful situation
