He is great in American sniper, American hustle, a star is born , burnt, a place beyond the pines. Bradley is one of the best actors working today. You should check out more of his movies.
This is my favorite performance of Cooper and Lawrence. I always like seeing DeNiro do not tough guy roles, it just shows he can transform into any kind of character, like the legend he is.
I really enjoyed this movie when it came out when I was 19. I LOVED this movie when I rewatched it at 27 after struggling with depression, being in therapy, etc.

The mental health is actually pretty accurate. Bradleys freak out about his wedding tape was a good example of a manic episode with anger outbursts. Through the course of the movie, it showed how much therapy, medication, and more self-awareness can improve someones mental health drastically. And also, just the fact of Bradleys character exercising and getting into a routine sleep and wake schedule along with the medication.4
I love this movie, too! Fantastic work from Bradley, Jennifer, and DeNiro especially. In addition to all the entertaining character stuff and great performances, I also love that it makes a point to show that Pat gets more out of control when not taking his meds (the fight where he accidentally hurts his Mom), and then the next morning shows him choosing to start taking his meds again. It helps fight the myth that "all you need is love to cure mental illness" - love/community/support is a huge help, absolutely, but it's not magic, and meds are often an equally important part of maintaining a healthy mind. So in that regard, this movie's depiction of mental illness is actually very accurate and good! :)
you happen to be working through all of my favorite movies right now it seems. If you haven’t done eternal sunshine of the spotless mind you a waitress to yourself to give that one a go.
I'm so glad you watched this one! It blew me away when it came out, I was not expecting to love this movie so much. I felt the same about Bradley Cooper. I never thought he was bad but I had no idea he could be this great.
Jimmy, years ago I took a chance on buying this movie on dvd, watched it and I have NO REGRETS!!! I never thought it would turn out this good, but yeah I was pleasantly surprised! I was also pleasantly surprised by you reacting to this AND enjoying it so much. We need MORE reactions to lesser known/viewed movies seriously because my RUclips algorithm is getting hella stale!!!!! 😝 Thanks Jimmy for staying legendary and coming up with another 💎. Chalk this one up for the algorithm!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
first of all ,eye really love that hat. 2nd ,also love how solid/semi-bored you look until a scene makes you smile or laugh. lmaoooo dis one of my fave movies ever ,eye really enjoyed watching this. great reaction! ✨cliccs subscribe✨ just realized the hat changed?!... didn't realize till the end. I didn't really know what to say towards the end of the dancing when Tiffany almost suffocated Pat with a certain part of her anatomy right in front of everyone.😳🤫😬
Can we imagine if the original casting had remained? Mark "can't act to save his life" Wahlberg and Anne Hathaway? Lol anyway this movie was great and it's what got me back watching movies in the theater again AND got my mother to start going with me. She always is fine with bootlegging a movie, but I got her to see it with me and we loved it. She kept saying how the entire family was crazy especially the mother for putting up with them, and the entire cast was actually crazy in some way 🤣🤣🤣 we thought Nikki wasn't real until she showed, usually when a character harps on an unseen character for so long it doesn't happen We'd find out she died or was a figment of his imagination or something 🤔 I had zero complaints about this film though and It was my personal favorite at the Oscars that year. While J-Law won the entire family was nominated It was the 1st film since Reds in '81 to do that, and 1 of the few nominated for the Big 5: best picture, Director, leading actor, actress and adapted or original screenplay.
I would say this is the best Bradley Cooper performance, but it’s definitely my favorite. This and Perks of Being A Wallflower are two movies that I really relate with each other, and both movies I absolutely love, even though this is definitely funnier and lighter.
I read the book .the movie is similar but the movie changed parts in it and the movie it whole lot better ..so don’t read the book unless you want to .just saving you time .the movie is way better
I'm glad she won. She was the best. But Bradley? No. You should always look at the competition. . Because he lost to Daniel Day Lewis for Lincoln. He's one of the greatest actors of all time. But the funny thing is...his performance wasn't even the best that year. It was Joaquin Phoenix in "The Master". The Best performance of his career and by far the best one of the year. As much as I loved BC in this movie, he doesn't even come close to Phoenix.
I didn't know Bradley Cooper had THAT in him. Best BC performance?
Jennifer Lawrence tho
She's ALWAYS great tho.
EDIT: Except for the last two X-Men movies. 😬

It seems like the mental health was well represented. And some of the family dynamic hit close to home.
Tears always when I watch this.
You saying “I can’t tell if she’s into it or if she hates his guts” perfectly encapsulates why this is such a great performance by Jennifer Lawrence.
I really enjoyed this movie when it came out when I was 19. I LOVED this movie when I rewatched it at 27 after struggling with depression, being in therapy, etc.
This is the only movie of this type that I absolutely love. Whenever I'm feeling down, it gets me up.
Jimmy - how do you not have more subscribers? One of the best reaction channels on YT!

I’ve seen the first three of those. This trumps those easily for me.
Jennifer Lawrence killed it but so did Bradley Cooper, he should have scored an Oscar too. Everyone was perfectly cast really.

Let's hope this turns into one of those movies that suddenly pops up on every reaction channel.

Limitless (2011) is fun as well (also has DeNiro)...
One of my all time favorites. And I don’t usually go for dramas.
Surprisingly sweet movie. Loved the diner date and the dance competition.

Robert de Niro is so funny when he's not pretending to be a tough guy.
BOTH LEADS ARE HILARIOUS & BRILLIANT. JENNIFER WAS SO HOT IN THIS ONE. OHH MY.

Crabby snacks and homemades.
Yea it's a great movie. Probably my favorite performance of Bradley Coopers

It's a very enjoyable movie, both Bradley n J-Law did great.
One of my fav movies and I don’t give a shit about the eagles. Jennifer Lawrence was A tier here. Bradley Cooper was likeable. Really great chemistry
It blows my mind how your channel is still not at 100k even yet. Been watching for years. Big ups for the grind though.

You got to do the trifecta: silver linings, American Hustle, and Joy. deniro, Lawrence and Cooper starring together
I saw American Hustle in theaters. Solid movie.
This is my favorite Bradley Cooper movie.
19:31
Thank you stupid
Lol
Seriously love your reactions 😢
American Hustle is also good although Lawrence has a smaller role.
Bradley Cooper is genuinely a good actor. Should check out Burnt-he is soo good in that. He plays dysfunctional really well
Jimmy was hilarious
I think their dance represents manic depression episodes.
2:54 He deserved to get his ass kicked tbh.

I am in agreement. The movie is much more satisfying.
All's well that ends well...that's what I say.
I love this movie! Thanks for reacting to this!
I'd pick crazy Jennifer Lawrence any day. This is a great movie.
Good movie
Love the hat homie 🗽
Okay, watch "A Star Is Born" now
God damn, I love this movie.
This is a great movie!
00:55 you missed the point. The guy doesn't exist lol
React to American hustle
Seen it
