I feel like the version of Dracula's Lament from one of the late night shows is a great triumphant reprise and would be put at the end of the musical if finished.
I hated Get Him to The Greek. It would've been better if Jonah Hill played the same character. Judd Apatow is weird with his "semi sequels" with This is 40 being a "semi-sequel" to Knocked Up with Jason Segel playing a different character, etc. If you're gonna do sequel- do a sequel. See my ranking of Judd Apatow movies within this thread. Ah- never mind- I'll just copy and paste here: Forgetting Sarah Marshall is, by far, Judd Apatow's best. I also love Bridesmaids at #2, Superbad at #3, The Big Sick at #4, Cable Guy at #5, and Knocked Up at #6. I like 40-Year-Old Virgin at #7 and Anchorman 2 at #8. Pineapple Express is #9, and Anchorman (the original) at #10. I also liked The Five-Year Engagement (which nobody else did) and didn't like Stepbrothers (which everybody loves). This is 40 (sort of sequel to Knocked Up) was average. Everybody loved King of Staten island- I didn't like it. I couldn't even get through the 1st 20 minutes of the awful The Bubble- which I was looking forward to. Some like Talladega Nights- I hate it. Fun With Dick and Jane was horrible compared to the brilliant original with George Segal and Jane Fonda. Get Him To The Greek (a spinoff from Sarah Marshall) was dumb as Jonah Hill played a completely different character. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. You Don't Mess With The Zohan was one of Adam Sandler's worst. Although Judd Apatow is one of the best, his wife and daughters are gorgeous and talented- and hilarious in his wife's case.
"Peter, I'm a pediatrician. Have you noticed you're sitting on a fire truck?" and, "It's a good-looking d*ck, Peter," are the two funniest lines from this whole movie in my opinion, and they're both from a guy with like, 15 seconds in the movie.
I remember after this came out Jason Segel did an interview where he talked about seeing it in a theater, and the person in front of him (who didn’t know he was there) said, when he first showed up naked, “That guy’s got a weird dick.” I think of that every time I watch the movie now.
Sometimes it seems like this movie was "hey, folks who didn't watch _That 70s Show,_ look how fast you can fall in love with this gorgeous girl." Same thing for Russell Brand and American folks, actually.
The desire to make a Puppet Dracula Musical was real. After this movie he made the musical and ran it for a couple of months in Venice California. Been looking for a video, but haven't found it
I have to respectfully disagree with the first half of your comment. While I do think she loved him (up to a point), she was extremely superficial. They were ultimately wrong for each other when she rose to fame with that television show. Rachel was way more chill and down-to-earth.
This is one of my all time favorite movies that seemingly no one I know ever seems to have heard of. Another incredibly overlooked gem is "Miss March". It, too, us over the top at times. More so, I would say, even than this film, yet hilariously so.
I like how this movie doesn't portray either of them completely blameless in the breakup but it does feel like they try to give him a pass for trying to cheat but not being able to, with the bartender conversation at the end.
Has Russel Brand been in enough movies to say he always plays the same character? In Get Him to the Greek he WAS the same character. I like him here because it could easily have been played as a one-note asshole, but he's actually an OK guy. Check out Death on the Nile if you want to see him play a character who is not the same character at all.
Hey Jimmy, you are a real gentleman, you've actually put your bro in the "Frodo position" that Peter Jackson used (forced perspective) filming the scene where G and Frodo are sitting in the wagon together going to Hobbiton. And that my dear Jimmy - makes your bro the Hobbit in this conclusion! Not bad, i hope he have filled up the pantry properly and that everone got enough barrels of "Southfarthing Leafs"! btw, you guys deserves more subscribers.
Just a FYI/Nitpick, during these movie recaps, the sounds kind of feels uneven. The movie scenes are kind of quiet, then I bust an ear drum every time you guys laugh lol :) Still love the recaps though!
11:50 If someone cheats on you, you can treat them like trash for the length of the relationship times 2. Times an additional 2 if there are children involved or they give you an STD.
I reckon you can't do much healing when you can't think, so you get to have a long drunk weekend, then a month of mourning, then 2-5 months to get yourself ready to get out there again. Nowhere but the drunk weekend should you be a broken mess. Yeah it may suck the relationship is over, but you should soon realize that your ex doesn't want to be with you and why would you want someone that doesn't want to be with you?
First of all, I must compliment you guys for reacting to this great movie. Never saw anybody else react to it-so props - hope you get 1000000s subscriptions. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is, by far, Judd Apatow's best. I disagree that Kristin Bell is the LVP - I loved her in this movie. She played the role perfectly. Princess Anna is the best! Of course, I love Mila Kunis too in this movie. Other Apatow movies: I also love Bridesmaids at #2, Superbad at #3, The Big Sick at #4, Cable Guy at #5, and Knocked Up at #6. I like 40-Year-Old Virgin at #7 and Anchorman 2 at #8. Pineapple Express is #9, and Anchorman (the original) at #10. Garage pass depends on who's fault the break up was... here, Sarah cheated so he gets to be an ass at least as long as the relationship lasted. 2 year relationship, 2 year pass.
guys you gotta do THE HEARTBREAK KID, its a similar style but so hysterical and no one reacts to it. To see ben stiller act alongside his dad Jerry is phenomenal
If you guys haven’t seen Knocked Up, it should definitely be next. Or at least on your list.. IMHO it’s even a step up from this movie as Judd Apatow films go. Legit I enjoyed this reaction.
Funny y’all singled out Mila Kunis as one you loved, just recently saw this again after many years and found her to be the least convincing actor out of the main cast.
My gf and I have quoted Paul Rudd’s “the weather outside is weather” a good thousand times and it never gets old
The fact we still haven't gotten a full length Dracula muppet musical yet is infuriating.
Right there with you. We demand the Dracula musical!
The Fearless Vampire Killers is a great substitute
would have been better than the semi-sequel we got (Get Him To The Greek)
I feel like the version of Dracula's Lament from one of the late night shows is a great triumphant reprise and would be put at the end of the musical if finished.
There is a semi sequel to this film 'Get Him to The Greek' It's about Russell Brands character after this movie.
Well worth a watch
Agree it's worth a watch. It gets a little confusing because Brand Plays Aldous Snow again, but Jonah Hill is playing a different character entirely.
so funny!
Wait I didn't know that was a sorta sequel. I passed it up and Now must go watch it.
I hated Get Him to The Greek. It would've been better if Jonah Hill played the same character. @@dsscam Actually Segel plays the same character in Knocked Up and 40.

That guy has more movie experience than everyone here combined.
Dietrich from Barney Miller. Loved his dry humor.
Stephen Landesberg - Unfortunately he died shortly after Sarah Marshall came out.
I remember after this came out Jason Segel did an interview where he talked about seeing it in a theater, and the person in front of him (who didn’t know he was there) said, when he first showed up naked, “That guy’s got a weird dick.” I think of that every time I watch the movie now.
Ahh Forgetting Sarah Marshall or as it's now known 2 hours of Jimmy trying to not be distracted by Mila Kunis😂
Damn near impossible
Sometimes it seems like this movie was "hey, folks who didn't watch _That 70s Show,_ look how fast you can fall in love with this gorgeous girl."
Same thing for Russell Brand and American folks, actually.
I have been waiting for another forgetting Sarah Marshall reaction for a very long time my friend, thank you!
"It's an anticipatory order" is used by my wife and I all the time. Fucking love this movie, and loved your reactions!
"COME ON MAN I GOT ALLMAN TICKETS!"
Sweet reaction vid by the two of ya, thanks. This gem has so many great lines.
Jason Segel actually wrote this movie! (and music for the movie, too.)
And unlike a lot of actors he's actually playing the music onscreen too
Lets be real the whole reason he made this movie was so he could do the dracula musical.
Russell Brand is good in doses. This movie has just the right dose.
Jason Segel wrote this and it’s based of his real life breakup with his costar from Freaks and Geeks. He actually wrote the Dracula Musical too.
3:46 (about Bill Hader) "oh he's BARRY."
*pauses video. subscribes. resumes video.
The desire to make a Puppet Dracula Musical was real. After this movie he made the musical and ran it for a couple of months in Venice California. Been looking for a video, but haven't found it
Sarah didn't love Peter. She loved playing games and torturing him. Him and Rachel were natural
I have to respectfully disagree with the first half of your comment. While I do think she loved him (up to a point), she was extremely superficial. They were ultimately wrong for each other when she rose to fame with that television show. Rachel was way more chill and down-to-earth.
Man, if you had a crush on Mila Kunis BEFORE this movie...
I can’t believe this is ur 1st time watching. This is a timeless classic.
The knockoff of CSI Miami was brilliant.
The whole scene of Russell and Kristen in the bed 💀💀💀
This is one of my all time favorite movies that seemingly no one I know ever seems to have heard of. Another incredibly overlooked gem is "Miss March". It, too, us over the top at times. More so, I would say, even than this film, yet hilariously so.
On break at work… will be tuning in later!! One of my favorite characters if all time!!! ALDOUS SNOW!!
I’m thinking Get Him to the Greek will be the true test of your possible Russel Brand fandom.
'He's too stupid to notice, you're too stupid to listen?!'
God I fucking love Jimmy 😂
Just a heads up.
Mila Kunis is Ukranian- Jewish.
I have no problem with that.
I think she's Amazing!
I still to this day sing “The weather outside is weather!” 😂
Gstaad is a vey upmarket ski resort town in Switzerland.
GET HIM TO THE GREEK!!!
Such a goofy, fun movie. Glad to see someone doing a reaction.
Real well known LA marionette operators in the dracula musical. They all worked on Greg The Bunny (funniest puppet sitcom Fox ever cancelled)
27:22 “It’s a metaphor for a crap movie”💀💀💀 One of the best lines
I absolutely love this film, it's hysterical.
There are too great big men in this movie, and it's a shame they haven't had more roles. They're both excellent in this movie.
Such a great comedy. You guys should check out I Love You Man next if you haven't already! Also Get Him To The Greek.
Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell in the same film. Just ... incredible.
I love this film, watched it so many times!
You gotta watch get him to the Greek. Its Russell brand playing the same character with Jonah hill playing a different character.
1) I loved this movie when it came out 2) Jason Segel really likes being naked and I applaud him for that
Lmao
The amount of times you guys hiding your faces makes it!!
One of the most iconic breakup movies ever! Dracula musical 🤌🏾😂
I like how this movie doesn't portray either of them completely blameless in the breakup but it does feel like they try to give him a pass for trying to cheat but not being able to, with the bartender conversation at the end.
@NolanEP They didn't talk about that, but clearly she didn't want him trying to sleep with other woman.
@NolanEP didnt cheat but he wasnt faithful
I love the grumpy ass energy to start this one off
Not just to start these…

He plays the same character here (mostly) he does in real life.
"American History X"
I'd love to see your reaction!!
The acting is amazing &
it will give you A LOT to react to.
Mila Kunis is so f’ing beautiful.
2:08 When I first watched this movie and saw this scene, I was like, "This movie just started and this man's heart is about to be broken already!"
Ashton Kutcher is a lucky lucky man...
Hey Jimmy, you are a real gentleman, you've actually put your bro in the
"Frodo position" that Peter Jackson used (forced perspective) filming the scene where G and Frodo are sitting in the wagon together going to Hobbiton.

One of the best comedies ever
Gstaad, Switzerland.
MVP - Mila
Runner-up - Paul Rudd
Jason S. Nude is hilarious
How did Paul Rudd not make list over Russell, lol
Now you have to do Get Him to the Greek.
Just a FYI/Nitpick, during these movie recaps, the sounds kind of feels uneven. The movie scenes are kind of quiet, then I bust an ear drum every time you guys laugh lol :)
Still love the recaps though!
Rip in peace, big man.
This movie is epic
Awesome reaction to a great comedy hope you both follow up with "get him to the Greek" Russell brand and jonah hill are great 👊🤙

Nothing wrong with that.
