The early Bond movies were the best,editing,cinematography, John Barrys score, exotic locations, simply magical-set the bar so high never to be equalled.
The man is in peace. To me all the other composer's after John Barry were weak except George Martin (RIP) and Marvin Hamlish (RIP). I hope they use John Powell's musical integrity for the next Bond film. What he did for Bourne he can do it for Bond. And that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so (from 976-CREOLEMAN)!

While not the best of Connery's Bonds- he often just walks through it like a tourist, somewhat bored. You can tell he had his fill of the role. Still, a beautiful-looking fom and a GREAT Barry score.
Loved this score since I was a kid. Parents had original soundtrack....started loving it probably around 1972.....gave me an appreciation for musical scoring and James Bond. It inspired me to enter CIA....I retired as a Station Chief.....and had a Bondian existence overseas...without the explosions....but the Women....the Women.....
I wore out my dad's LP of this movie. Made my small town brain open wide. Great movies always have the best soundtracks that bring them to life. Great comment Scott. 👍👍
