Pronounced Voc-tiv. A play on words based on the 8-note scale (called an octave, pronounced oc-itv) and the fact that they are a vocal group.

It is pronounced like octave which is actually pronounced ok-tiv (short i). So Voctave is pronounced Vok-tiv. (short I)
