I love the visceral reaction of you crying - so wholesome and sweet. These nostalgic songs hit harder for us 90s kids, especially given the last few crazy years we've had. thanks for the amazing video! - btw, there is a video of them rehearsing where guests soloists Jeremey and Kristen freak out over the soprano Kate's high notes. they had to stop singing and they all broke down laughing and were in awe. Even the pros were shook!
@@ZhenYaoYin Hi Kids, I'm here a couple of years too late. I still have to comment on Kate Lott's contribution to this performance. Eighty percent of the time Kate subordinates her vocals to where they are almost an after-thought. If you listen closely you will hear the echo of some of the cleanest and purest notes ever performed. How she keeps her tone that clear without getting screechy is amazing. I grew up in a home with a classically trained soprano in my mom. She showed me the difference between "covering" a note and letting one get away from you. Kate's technique is the best I've ever heard for the range she possesses. Go back and listen to the big crescendos and listen to the very top and you will hear what you would miss if she wasn't singing it. It gives the chord a 'ring' at the end it really is sublime what she does. Oh in case you didn't know Kate is the little blond at the end on the left. I hope that you have continued to listen to them. I can only listen to a couple of songs from them because they force the tears from my eyes and if I listen to more I get the worst migraine's. So when you confessed to the tears, I was way ahead of you. Wishing you good fortune in 2O24.
You two always do great reaction, love it! Very acute listeners as well, I don't recall any reactor getting all transitions right and noticing the different pieces elements in the final mash up.
You guys were on the money. The original sheet music for this piece was called “John Williams Medley” but I assume they changed the title for more marketability to those who don’t know who John Williams is.
Hi! It's Kurt from Voctave. We actually had to change the name from "John Williams Medley" to the "Great Movie Medley" because John Williams "people" wouldn't allow us to use his name. But you have to admit....ALL those movies are pretty great!
Wow, how beautiful and touching the reaction of you Zhen family to this voctav video, that's why I've been asking countless times, because I knew you'd be in love. I cried together too because they bring me many childhood memories. Please react to the FORESTELA group by singing "Nella Fantasia" Thank you for the emotional reaction. and kisses from Brazil.😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Can you do "Falling over you" by Tim Foust and Rockapella? Tim dropped it over a week ago, and it it awesome!! It only have 4K views which I don't understand. Thanks!!
This was so fun to watch! Perhaps Voctave could cover Hans Zimmer next? 😄
Fun reaction! My best friend sent me your link and I loved it!! Voctave is a favorite of ours and you both are so knowledgeable and genuine!
Wow, thanks!! Didn’t expect to see a big reactor commenting on our little channel! And might I say that your best friend has good taste? 😜
Hans Zimmer or James Horner would be amazing
I would love a Danny Elfman mix. Need something for the spooky season.

Wow, did NOT expect one of you guys to drop by our channel! Thanks so much for putting out such amazing music into the world! 😍😍😍

Such a great reaction!! BTW, did you realize @Kvon13 is one of the Voctave members who responded to your reaction below? Pretty cool.
This is one of my favorite Voctave songs! All songs sung here were scored by the incomparable John Williams. This is a great tribute to him.

Wow, thanks! I’m glad you appreciated the breakdown 🥰
the composer - John Williams, is a genius.

Pretty sure that was the case! The algorithm makes slaves of us all 😅😆

@@Kvon13 Thanks for sharing that insight! I’m surprised that “his people” would have issues with putting his name onto his work! 🤔
9:12 "Popsical"! Pun intended.
Yay! My favourite from Voctave. Epic! I always tear up at Jurassic Park. 🤗
Yay, thanks for watching! You know it’s really good music when you can cry listening to it 🥲
The Great "John Williams" Medley
PLEASE do their Prince of Egypt medley next! It's SOOOOOO good!
Yeah, Voctave's soprano-1 can stand in for a piccolo. Which is necessary, for some of the music they do.
Very enjoyable. You were so spot on with your predictions! Kudos!
Thank you! It was fun guessing (and even funner getting them right! 😆)

Thanks for your lovely comment! 🥰
I always enjoy your reactions. You always smile and laugh and really brighten my day!
I love you guys! You’re so cute and I love your energy. Hi from Australia.
Great reaction for a great band.
(Bonjour from a French guy)
Glad you liked the video! Merci beaucoup! 😍
You should react to their other performance more🥺🥺
Don’t worry, we will! Of all the groups we’ve been reacting to, Voctave comes closest to our past experience singing in a choir 😄

Can do some super bowl halftime shows, i think you should do Beyoncé and Katy Perry
Can't hear you guys at all
Thanks for watching! Mind telling me which parts you couldn’t hear? Then maybe I can try to avoid that happening again in the future 😄
it wasn't you guys. It was me. I did say I fixed it so no worries.@@ZhenYaoYin
@@debbeauregard4113 Ah ok! Glad it’s all sorted now! 😄
