    With the amount of knowledge there is to get out of watching this imagine if every high level guy put out videos like this. Jiujitsu would advance so quick. Thanks for the vid as always!

    You know why Wiltse wins every single take-down? Because he commits to it. It's something you see over and over; he goes for the single leg, and pushes through. His ukes go for a single leg and half way, it looks as if they doubt the shoot and ram the breaks. Great videos as usual Wiltse!

  • @graingerous16
    @graingerous16 3 года назад +22

    The constant attacking from guard and the seamless transitions from guard attacks to sweeps to securing position are so fun to watch. Rolling with Andrew seems like it would be a never ending race to get ahead of these attacks, only you’d never be able to get out ahead of them, he’ll catch you eventually

  • @marcazurin1988

    Andrew's arm drag counter is so cool. Half the time I'm like "why did his opponent just fall down on their own arm drag?"

    • @nickkim41
      @nickkim41 3 года назад +3

      What is he doing exactly I noticed it too
      Slick as hell

    • @marcazurin1988
      @marcazurin1988 3 года назад +10

      @@nickkim41 he is basically using the arm they are trying to drag to clothesline them. When they grip his elbow, his hand wasn't as controlled which allows him to shoot his hand in front of their head, neck, or shoulder/armpit. While he does this, he leans forward and uses his non-drag arm to control them too. This is one of the issues with the "hip-first" arm drag. If they time their counter, you just fall on your butt. The traditional arm drag, chest first, allows for more of a chance to stay on your feet if countered in the way mentioned above.

    • @priestofpartagas
      @priestofpartagas 3 года назад

      @@nickkim41 I'm not sure, but it looks like he picks the forward (base) leg or pulls against the opposite arm/elbow while pushing against the Armdrag, effectively putting uke's back through the tatami.
