Midir was actually a dragon raised by the gods, when the gods gifted the humans/pygmies the ringed city, midir was tasked to eternally battle the dark so as to prevent the humans/pygmies from bringing about the age of dark.
I love the spear of the church online thing, it has possibly one extremely unique thing that the other bosses dont have

It’s a semi common trope by FromSoft as this mechanic was used for the old monk in Demons souls and looking glass knight in ds2
this is just awesome. DS3 is my favourite souls game.
DS3 is my favourite game of all time, so combining it with ASMR makes it even better.

@42:40 he seems to summon the poison cloud and enemies if you leave him with 1 bracelet left for a reasonable amount of time. They're pretty deadly, so it basically just means you need to make sure you destroy the 3rd bracelet shortly after the 2nd.

That Stray Demon fight was strange coz u killed him at the exact same time that, if you attack the same leg for the whole fight, his leg crumbles off. So you got a weird stacked animation of the crumbling leg animation straight into normal death animation. Huh

Hey man. I just recently found your videos, and I really love these asmr gameplay videos that talk about the game. Probably one of the few Male asmr channels I would actually listen too lol.
I was wondering if you would consider doing a video on Hollow Knight at some point. Many Dark Souls players love that game, and you'll see why. An asmr video would also definitely make sense for it because of the atmosphere provided by the visuals and music.

the abyss watchers remind me more of gwyn because of the flaming sword and the flaming one's standard combo.
I went throughout like half the game with 3 estus because I didn’t pick up the other flasks which I needed to upgrade the amount of flasks I can take

The gael fight, apart from being especially made to give a last bang to the dark souls trilogy, is also in classic mizaki fashion, a reminder of the futility of your actions.
The fight agaisnt gwyn, vendrick's wife, soul of cinder (all other boss fights are under this rule) and ultimately gael go unwatched, and the purpose for them is pathetic and wouldn't truly change the fate of anything.
Like dogs fighting for scraps, two warrios tear each other apart for a mere shadow of what they desire, the futile kindling of the fire, the useless rulership of drangleic and of course, the last scraps of the dark soul.
And even then, the world uncaringly goes on, even after the silent watcher that is the player leaves the world, and buries all that came before under piles of ash, mist and grey scales.

Making good commentary in a video is hard to do, especially when the video is pre-recorded and your commenting over it. It will almost always sound very scripted and boring. But you got it down, It took me at least halfway through the video to realize you weren't playing and commenting at the same time. Good job.

The first boss wasnt challenging at all for me it might be because i have played until ng+4 on bloodborne
And ng+1 on dsr

your content is so good as always but i really can't take this game seriously from an outside perspective. i never played bloodborne but that video of yours i've watched so many times, the bosses can be repetitive but they're interesting, grotesque and the hunters have human proportions. in this game i've already seen, in order, a regular dude on all fours with armor and a mace, a regular dudette hunched over with two scimitars i think and now i'm watching the fight against a prince or something, who has been on his knees for the entire first half of the fight, and at the time of typing this comment the second phase of his fight has started, he has his brother on his shoulders, changed hair color i think but he's still on his hands and knees. what the hell is this lol

I mean it’s understandable that the game is hard but by cheesing with a bow you are just having a less fullfiling experience because it doesn’t take nearly as much dedication to learn the fight
Yeah I was a bit disappointed that he basically said “this is better than DS2 gank fights because this is fun and balanced and not just needlessly difficult” and then proceeds to cheese the first two phases because they are hard.
