- One year ago I made an ASMR commentary video for all of my fights against the bosses in Dark Souls 2. It was only a matter of time that I got around to doing the same for Bloodborne! This video includes rambling, soft speaking, and whispering about my experience with the game, boss lore, strategies, and other Bloodborne related stuff.

I have beaten every boss in dark souls trilogy, Sekiro, and Elden ring. I got whooped by orphan of Kos for an entire day to the point where I literally ran out of my blood vials supply and that never happened before. To this day I just never went back.
Slight correction on Rom, Kos(or some say Kosm) basically made Rom a Kin Great One. You can get this from Micolash’s dialogue, when he says something around the lines of “Grant us eyes, as you once did for the vacuous Rom.” I’m pretty sure Rom was a Byrgenwerth student, who was chosen by Kos as a surrogate kin.(Also, the Celestial Emissary are engineered kin Great Ones)
I can’t say it enough but.. thank you for these of series man. I feel like my life has been stressing me out the ass lately and all these lore videos weirdly enough help me relax and forget about the dumb shit in my life. I appreciate the content you make because I swear I’ve come back to this video some many times. Hope all is well!

A big, massive tip with both the cleric beast and Vicar Amelia - along with Laurance I believe - is that they have essentially destructible limbs. More specifically the left arm. If you focus attacks on the left side, on their forearm more specifically, eventually you'll do enough damage it'll break, doing a big chunk of damage, and they'll screech and become stunned for a short time, then that limb will take more damage until it's healed. It just takes time to heal I believe, though Amelia's healing ability does fix it too.

Dude i had 300 hundred hours in Bloodborne and didnt even know chalice dungeons existed until this video. Now im addicted to them, the watchdogs of the old lords is probably my second favorite fight in bloodborne but the amegdala fight is absolute cheating garbage.

Amygdala was so easy
One thing I found for the Cleric beast that allowed me to beat it first try was that it is very weak to Molotovs and (if I remember correctly) it can stun him and interrupt attacks with good timing.
Couple massive tips for blood starved beast that weren't mentioned in this. 1, _'pungent blood cocktails'_ are very very effective, and if you throw one at a wall then BSB will get distracted and attack the spot you threw it, so if you're really struggling, you can farm echos, buy a bunch of those - only need maybe 5 Pbc's and 1 fire paper to kill it from second phase. With a +3 - +6 weapon.
Also, parrying it is very easy and extremely effective. And, on top of that, when it gets to it's third phase (maybe second?) it starts to spam a frenzied multiple slash attack, so if you get close to it, bait the attack, then dodge back as it winds up. If you do that, then you can shoot at just about any point during the combo for an easy parry. A lot of his other attacks are actually essentially the same windup and parry timing, so you can learn one and then apply that to any other with the same windup.

Laurence, the First Vicar being a fire version of the (likely) first boss you encounter (The Cleric Beast) is a reference to how you fight the Asylum Demon in Dark Souls and later encounter a fire version of that creature. It's intended to show the player of how far they've come. Maybe not implemented as strongly, but that's what I got out of the fight with Laurence.
bloodborne was the first/only 'hard' game i really really loved. i played it close to 6 years ago now! i totally didn't understand the story when i was going through it (just focused on staying alive) but i loved the atmosphere, i had no idea the lore was so deep/complex. i thought the bosses were some of the easiest fights in the game. what i really struggled with was djura in old yharnam :-/

Stay behind Rom and just circle with her. Fire is very effective, and if you have half decent damage and use fire paper on a fast weapon - holy blade 1-handed, pimp cane, etc - you can just spam her and she can't teleport, and then the spiders will rarely attack you. If you keep damage coming in, and never let her teleport, then she will essentially fail to progress to the later phases. That meaning she will almost always fail to attack, and I believe fewer spiders spawn too.
It drove me so bonkers you never used the "trick" part of your trick weapon part I have to switch to a different video of yours. I still left a like though, cause your content deserves it! I'm off to watch the hollow knight one for like the hundredth time even though I'll never actually play hollow knight.
awesome video by the way i think cleric beast was a simple cleric that became corrupted and transformed into a beast.

Just get Ludwig's sword and upgrade it to +10 with some good physical gems..
