One of the most underrated songs ever
Mike Shinoda is amazing. He's different from the rappers now-a-days. This is what rap used to be about, it used to having meaning. Now, all it's about is sex, drugs, violence, and money. It's sad, because it leaves the real rappers (like Mike0 un-noticed. Music isn't the same thing it was 20-30 years ago. Mike, come back and do another side project with Fort Minor. This music is literally, the only thing giving me hope for this generation.

Had this album. Spent the first 30 bucks of my pay check on it. I wasn't aware there was a limited edition, but had bought one by complete accident. I had heard the whole tracklist on spotify so many times, so when I popped in the cd on my drive home from my girlfriend's place an hour and a half away, I was expecting it to loop after the regular tracklist. Then I stumbled on this gem and fell in love with FM and Mike Shinoda's music all over again. And then, my cd got donated. I'll get a new one someday, as this started my love for getting actual physical copies of all of my music, just to see what other gems the original musicians hid on them.
These lyrics are so freaking deep.

Every time I listen to it I get chills
if mike didn't join LP and have that type of success with them, I'm not sure people would like at this album a whole lot, not because he's not a talented individual but because if a rapper comes out and isn't all thuggish, talking about bitches and drugs then they aren't cool enough. when guys like mike and lupe are actually just really cool fuckin dudes, while these storyteller rappers makee millions, selling hope to the hopeless.

Fort Minor was a test, a test to see how popular this group would get and if it would get any success at all. We all know that they fucked shit up in the rap world and could continue, but we don't know if they will make a comeback. Mike and Lupe fucking killed it. This might be the best rap song ever recorded. With most rappers, it's drugs, sex, and money. These guys rap about real stuff.
