I just got back into WoW after like what, a 4 years break? Before I buy the new expansion I want to get all Spirit Beasts for my Hunter so this video is very helpful! Thank you so much! :D
amazing vid. Just got Arcturis, Gondria, Karoma, Lightning paw, and Gon in just one day. And got Ghostcrawler, Spectral Gryphon and Arcturis a second time a couple days after. Never been this lucky before
I have all minus the Dragon Soul Owl and Gara. Those 3 porcupines were no joke to get in current content. It took half a raid team to help get me all 3. My spirit owl from Cata is appropriately named ‘Adam’s Fall’ in honor of the guildy that’s corpse landed at my feet so I could tame it 😂 BUT Skoll (my Gunny) is the one I always have out first in my stable.
I have once tamed the spectral Gryphon on a Horde toon. NOT easy. Firstly, because it's rare to even see the feather and second because of the hostile NPC's and players. You have to fly in the RHS archway and look from back near the edge so as to not aggro anything. Then creep closer until you can click on the feather. There 's a pat to worry about but the NPC's don't actually aggro as much as I expected. I was thrilled to tame this on my first attempt after hearing about it. But have never seen the feather since then. Good Luck !
LOL - after watching the video, went into Org, found the egg, tamed Gon. It helps to play on a server with half-assed players who just don't seem to want to make the effort.
Because you are in a different phase then. You could see Warmode as a parallel universe, where everything is the same but you only can see players who also activated it and you can kill each other. That also means, that all the mobs and raremobs have their own, seperate spawntimer etc. and since most players don‘t have warmode activated (especially in old zones) the chances are higher to find the rare pets you are looking for :)
I tamed all three MOP spirit beasts by taking off all my gear and giving myself ress sickness. Then punch them twice and they are low enough to tame. That was in Dragonflight, don’t know if that still works now though.

cool guide, but I have no idea where any of these things are on the map as a returning player, so I am having to go into the make and click every continent, every section and sub section to try to figure out where the maps you are showing, are. lol

@@GarroshTV I'll give it a shot. I've never actually seen Ban'thalos in the wild. Even when phased correctly in Mount Hyjal, I've never had the opportunity to see any of the three spirit beasts in that area. I nab most of the others pretty normally when I make a hunter.. But those Mount Hyjal beasts elude me. Loving all the content btw :)

@@cxk7127 i was able to tame it for the 2nd time by taking my weapon off and using tranq shot on it while flying by ( had to dismount midair ) then use disengage to survive the fall. Started taming once it got within range and I had no issues. I was worried about it resetting, but maybe I just got lucky! The tree/trap worked well for me years ago though! Fingers crossed you get it soon!

Yeah I feel that! I have some Pets on one Hunter I barely play anymore that are really tough to get nowadays. Would love to use them on my other Hunter but... well... that would take multiple Hours and it's not THAT important to me :D
I left in BFA and Gon was constantly spawn camped... Wasn't able to get him at all. Has WW changed the spawn timers at all? Or is Gon still spawn camped?
The spawntimers havent changed but recently I haven‘t seen to many people camping Gon. Especially right now everyone is in the new zones, so you should have it somewhat easy :)

there is a hammer you need to get from the sea look up void scarred voidhammer on wowhead - then go to the rookery follower dungen kill first boss, drop down the pit and turn left and go up the stairs - use the hammer when aradon is near - rinse and repeat for two pets :D
That‘s weird, not sure how or when this changed. I mean, I literally do it in the Video, so it definetly worked for me. I will check it later today if I can find the Owl!
@@GarroshTV I was so frustrated because after searching for hours he was finally there so I probably misunderstood what you said. I couldn’t use the tame ability while he was in range in the air, that’s what I meant by “Can’t cast while moving” So what I did instead was shot him with concussive shot and then cancel my auto attacks, fell to the tree and then cast tame. Thanks for the video, it was really helpful!
Elegon is available. I went into the raid. Killed the first boss and after there is nothing else in the raid. No second boss. All doors shut. Frustrating.
It's a shame they reused the Spirit wolf skin for Karoma. I've had that wolf ever since TBC when you could tame the Grimtotem spirit wolf. Cheapened the achievement of taming it.
Yeah, I definetly get your point, I once wanted to tame the Grimtotem one, but i was very new to the game and it was too confusing for me at the time :D

Apparently with 11.1 this might get fixed! You will be able to pick the spec of your hunter pets, which means you can make them tenacity and give them BL At least that has been datamined, let‘s hope!
@@GarroshTV wow times really have changed I remember camping for week to get all the pets from the basin I was glad when cata came along and they could kill people who were attacking the rare pets 🤣🤣🤣 my fave pet attack was the crab with its perfect bat move.

Just tip go ghost claw. As hunter go to gnmoegone prob misspelled that don't care. Kill first boss for hydrocane staff give water breathing always have that in my bags ok off chance need enter water for long time. Good when potion are pricey on few been on get bit to pricey recommend farming first boss get staff for water breathing alone keep in bags on off chance
?? Just do the first couple of quests in vashj'ir. They provide you both underwater breathing AND an underwater mount. (The mount takes a little longer)

@@monkeyjames9285 it allows you to be fast as druid under the water. Also you still need to do something in "boring times". If you really need something "cheap" - ask warlock for his buff.
@user-go2ld4ti6r true but sometimes I don't luxury asking a warlock cause been few times just don't like going around try find warlock ask them since I on rp sever sometimes little harder to ask plus tend play solo for most part so I usually go gnmoe gone anyway grab hydrocane cause give under water breathing use mount usually lesser used alts I might need underwater occasionally never Enough really warrant fishing artifact plus I could boring times farm for golf cause I never any gold most I ever had was 40k in today world junk change that sad

It was added in Legion 7.1.5 and have a revive timer. Good old days when 2-3 hunters waiting for her in bushes. I was the luckyest. The rest use /cry

I don’t understand how does activating war mode basically give you a second chance of finding them?
Because you are in a different phase then.

You have waterwalking, fast swimming speed and water breathing with it.
