Love this review, extremely balanced and well done! Thanks for the effort you put into this. As a fellow-creator, I recognize the hours of effort and research that went into this excellent review. Thank you. I will be recoewing a similar product on my channel shortly, and this has given me much to think about!
Composted is organic matter that is broken down into a nutrients and microbes. Soil is dirt, (top soil) compost, sand, perlite ect. Compost is a soil amendment and soil is still full of microbes from compost and other sources like worm castings, frass ect
Love love our Reencle! My daughter gifted us this composter. We used to do it the old fashion way and it was such a hassle and messy. This is the best, no smell, grinds all our organics in fine particles. It is on the floor by the solarium you don’t even know it is working since it is so quiet. We started using it a month ago and no issues with it. Thank you
Amazing review. It gave me lots to think about. We actually leave at a house but we wanted to optimize the compost creation and we analysed this option. In Romania, this composter is quite expensive and I wanted to try it out first but its not an option. Our living lifestyle is actually one of daily cooking for a family of.4. Our composting daily size is of approx 1 kg/day. The decomposition seems like a.great idea, saving from the size of the composting bins we keep.in the garden. It was a great review! Thank you!
@nemetirobert6819 Thank you so much for the kind comment and sharing your situation. Romania is a place I want to visit one day. It looks so lovely and calm. 1kg is a large size! This composter is great if your backyard is small since you’ll eventually run out of space to throw the food waste in the backyard, and since you live in Romania, it gets cold and maybe even snow during the winter, so something like this would definitely help turn the kitchen scraps into something useful a lot quicker. Do they have a 30-days return for free that you maybe can take advantage of?
Well done, but I'm surprised you haven't compared the Reencle to the Mill composter. Even tho the Mill is obscenely expensive at $1,000, you should compare it.
Really is better and cheaper to simply do it outside in the yard. Glad you covered the use being more towards renters. Great review. Price isn't too bad.
Just a heads-up, if you run the Reencle indoors, it will spike your CO2 levels above 1000 PPM. I monitored the area immediately around it with an Aranet4 CO2 sensor and it's just consistent with their metabolic output. But better aerobic CO2 than anaerobic methane, amirite?
@andrestrescastro4935 I'll put it on my list to look into. If there are enough requests, I'll definitely move it up the list and may be able to review it sooner. 😉 Thank you for your suggestion!
This product works great until it doesn’t. It sells for $500+ and lasts about 1 year. It is NOT worth buying a product when the company doesn’t stand behind their products. Find another way to composite your scapes, this was a waste of my hard earned $$$.
Aww, sorry to hear that. My Reencle has been running like a champ for a year and a half now. Their teardown video made the components look very repairable. I do pre-process my food waste with a Vitamix FoodCycler Eco 5 so the Reencle motor doesn't have to struggle with tough or bulky inputs. I've never had to renew my microbes or the carbon filter. The microbes regenerate themselves pretty much forever if you treat them right. You can also disassemble the (many) screws and refill the filter with your own bulk activated carbon. I tend to think AC Infinity provides the best bang for your buck in that department. I'm my opinion, there's nothing else on the market that can decompose food scraps as rapidly and as thoroughly as the Reencle.

@GreenLove1 Yup, it definitely takes time to create while still having a full-time job. However, glad I could be of help! Thank you for dropping by! 🙏
Have you tried the compost in the garden? Do your plants like it?
Not yet. I did give some to my brother for his plants. I don’t know if he has used it yet. I’ll ask him tomorrow when I see him.

Glad it was helpful!
Great review!!!
Thanks!🙏
This was very helpful. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! 🙏
Thanks for posting. I’m trying to decide on a brand and this was helpful ❤
@ed6954 You’re so welcome! Glad it was helpful!!

Thank you for the suggestion. I've only recently heard about the Mill composter. I'll look into it further.

Completely agreed!! Our previous place has enough backyard space to dump everything outside but not with our current place. 🥲

@MikeTrieu - LOL Thanks for the heads-up! When you say "metabolic output", is it the compost that the Reencle is creating?
Can you review the Mill food recycle machine?

@maureenpiccirillo1586 Really? Thanks for sharing your experience. That really sucks! I guess I'll have to see how ours will go.

I have had mine for over 2 years without issue as well.
Fraud. It’s an awesome product
