I own both of Anna Marie's decks & both are in my top 10. I adore both, everything about them. Class! I want a back up of the Llewellyn along with the Wildwood tarot. Thank you Simon, for a wonderful review. (I feel like this is deck royalty, with such gorgeous borders. I would never trim this one)
I edged mine in a beautiful metallic brown that matches the cards. Sometimes when I can’t decide whether I want to trim a deck, I’ll get a second copy just to trim/edge. But I’ve only done that a few times. If I were going to trim this I would take everything off all the way down to just the picture.
I wanted to love this deck because I love the Arthurian Mythos. The card stock is so thick I cannot riffle shuffle these like other Llewellyn decks.And the Majors are stunning works of art. The minors, however look like rough sketches never finished, So I dont feel joy when I get them out. I edged mine in metallic copper that looks amazing...Thank you for you show, Simon, love it.
Trimming them takes away the old world feel and makes them much more contemporary to me? I definitely wouldn't trim but will edge them if I can get a copy. Finished watching and about to place an order- just beautiful.
I saw this deck in Kelly Truth In Story’s channel a few months back and ordered it. I just don’t want to rip it open. I’m waiting until I have time to study it
Lovely cards , book and gorgeous golden bag with a tremendously battered big yellow box . Anyway I was pleased to rediscover that I have these cards which I picked up in a Glastonbury bargain basket. Ive moved them nearer to my Celtic cards now. I find the print on my cards a bit indistinct and blurry which could be why I've never used them .
Do you feel that the Empress is more related to the horned one in this deck than the emperor? I see the Empress as mother (Gaia) and emperor as father or does she fit better with the horned one as they come together to replenish the earth? Please shed some light on this ty 💞 & 🕯️ Blessed Be 😊if what I said makes any sense lol
Hello Simon, I am just catching up now. I have spent my day sorting out my garden, then baking some banana bread (two loaves) which turned out great. I was so bold yesterday, I had had a couple of glasses of wine, my ipad was on my knee and I ended up ordering two decks the Anna K from Amazon and The Wizard Tarot from the Book Depository... But... I thought the first order had not gone through so I re-sent it and now have two decks of the Wizard Tarot on the way... Hmmm... Me, Wine, and my ipad on the shopping apps is not a very good idea at all. YIKES! Right, I am going to stop typing now and watch you show the Llewellyn Tarot. Stay safe and healthy Simon xx

I'm English and I can say I feel more of a connection to cultural icons that I'm familiar with. It's natural really. That said, it's not unusual for people to be drawn to other cultures. Sometimes I think it's in the DNA or even a past life. Othertimes it might just be admiration, or the benefit of learning from something different to the familiar.
Simply beautiful and crying out for large borderless format. I shall wait in hope...
