I wanted to love the Herbcrafters Tarot, but something just didn't click no matter how many times I tried to read with it. Green Witch Tarot was another one that I wanted to love. The retitled majors were awesome, but many of the minor arcana depictions didn't makes sense to me, and the herbs were often too small for me to see in the cards, so it too away from part of the experience of it being a "green witch" deck. BTW, John Mattews and Mark Ryan are coming out with a new deck this year called The Sherwood Oracle💚

The guide book has some wonderful craft ideas in it. I have it, but never used it. The deck is gorg, but is not beginner friendly. I still love it.

The wild unknown is awed me with its intuitive energy. I ended buying an expensive indie 1st edition besides two mass market versions as i didn't even know Tarot back then! lol
Love your video and it is fun!

Refreshing to see you declutter, I still haven't been able to declutter anything, but I will have to do it someday. 😅 My goal is next year, or maby later this year if I feel I'll be able to. 🙈

I'm debating passing on the Herbcrafters Tarot. It just doesn't speak to me. The Wildwood Tarot is one of my favorites. Years ago, i had a Thoth deck that literally creeped me out. My daughter and I were discussing this and a friend of hers walked up and said he'd love to have it. Fast forward maybe 10 years, and we ran into him, and he whipped the deck out of his backpack with a big grin. To say the deck was well used is an understatement! I'm so glad it found a home. I do love the Crow Tarot and the Druidcraft Tarot. My mushroom decks will be with me forever! I enjoyed this video.

I always love your videos. One tip/feedback I have for you though is that this video is particularly blurry and the highest quality it can go up to is 720p and I have excellent wifi. You can really make out any visual details in the video. Its a cool collection video, but I really suggest trying to up ur video clarity quality for future vids! take care

My videos are shot in 1080p, and I always save and upload to the highest quality I can. Maybe there's a setting wrong on your device?

HI, I just watched your video and you mentioned, that the German version of the Druidcraft has better cardstock as the English one and also the book is better. I'd like to know what do you mean with "better". I ask, because I'm German and usually the origins are better than the German productions, so yesterday I bought an English Copy of the Druidcraft after I thought quite a while about it and now I'm quite astonished 🥴Did I buy the wrong one?

I gave The wild unknown to my brother, he loves it. I just didn't like it at all. I don't get why people so crazy about it.

I think the biggest reason people love it so much is that at the time it released, there really wasn't anything like the Wild Unknown out there. All decks had people imagery, or anthropormorphic animals who acted like people. There weren't really any decks that were inclusive, or used non-human imagery that was dynamic to represent the meanings of the cards. The Wild Unknown was so unique, and the sparing, deliberate use of color was completely alien - it stuck out in a good way in a sea of decks that basically all recreated the same images with different figures or mythical creatures, and made a name for itself. Professional readers who didn't want to leave out their BIPOC clients could use this deck, knowing that they wouldn't be showing their black or Indigenous clients a sea of thin, white people in medieval settings. It's not so unique anymore, but at the time, it was a game-changer.
