  • Jesse Weber, an attorney and an anchor for the Law & Crime Network, believes the Karen Read defense has a good case, thanks to questionable behavior by some responding officers. But criminal defense attorney Imran Ansari believes the statements by Read, herself, make it easy for the prosecution. Criminal defense attorney Jonna Spilbor asks: Who knows better than cops how to do a cover-up?

At first, a tightly knit group of friends that were cops and/or married to them were involved. They messed up and panicked, dumped him outside, Googled how long he’d have to be there so he’d die and then people that were close to the families just kept quiet. This isn’t rocket science. The investigator didn’t even question the majority of the people in the house until months later. Over a year in some cases.

@@ByronTexas Whether you agree or not, the above comment is funny. Not a single word I wrote refers to the case, or suggests I am somehow laughing at it. The case is extremely bizarre, yet so sad and heartbreaking for many, especially his parents, niece and nephew and his brother. I assume that just like yourself, finding out the real perpetrator/s and prosecuting the guilty party is what matters. The only truth and fact here is that a man, a very decent human being was murdered. Two children lost the closest thing they knew to a father, parents lost a child in a terrible manner.
And currently, all I hear about the case is a spectacle, where many of the involved parties are either lying, or the investigation they have done in this case is extremely poor. Either way, we will see how the rest of the trial evolves and enfolds. Rest in Peace Mr. John O’Keefe. My sincere condolences to the family

You're ignoring the FBI investigation. They don't look into local cases very often unless there is something to it. Also, the FBI, allegedly, came to the conclusion that the car didn't cause the injuries. If that is true and someone from the FBI testifies for the defense, it's over. If the injuries don't fit, the jury will acquit!

It’s also been stated that he had a head wound and had lost pints of blood. Yet there was very little blood at the scene. The second-degree murderer is used when you kill someone is a drunk driving case. Essentially it says that you knew your behavior was reckless and that behavior then caused to death. It doesn’t mean you intentionally were out to kill. This is the correct charge, folks that support Karen Reed, say it’s being overcharged because there is an intention on Karen’s part to kill him, but that doesn’t have to be the case, there are three different degrees within second-degree that outline the charges that applied in this case.

And it’s not a lot of people. After watching the first week-not one of them are necessarily in on “some vast conspiracy”. Seems McLaughlin misheard what Karen said given McCabe’s first statement to police said KR said “could I have hit? Did I hit him?” Not the “I hit him.” And McLaughlin opened the ambulance door and told them inside “she said I hit him” which they all repeated-and credited it to a woman-KR fit that. Then the firehouse was talking about it constantly and morphed. Easy to understand.
Only people who were really actually in on it, I believe, was Proctor, Higgins, the Alberts and Jen McCabe. I believe many others just believed their friends and went along with what they were told.

  • @HokieJuju
    @HokieJuju 27 дней назад +26

Even if Karen Read had hit John O’Keefe (which I absolutely don’t believe is the case after following this case for over a year), there is absolutely no way in hell she did it on purpose & intentionally which would make her not guilty of 2nd degree murder (which is what she is charged with). The commonwealth increased her charges from manslaughter to 2nd degree murder, seriously overcharging her. I’d speculate they did that in order to try & get her to take a plea deal so this case would never go to trial. They knew the case was severely flawed at best & an absolute coverup at worst. If they hadn’t increased the charges to 2nd degree murder, they likely would’ve gotten away with this horrendous thing they’ve done to poor Karen Read. The fact that they could do this to an innocent woman & let her take the fall for something they all know she didn’t do & they can still sleep just fine every night speaks absolute volumes about the evil, vile monsters who killed an innocent Boston police officer & framed his innocent girlfriend!!!! I don’t know how anyone could live with themselves knowing they could send an innocent person to prison for a crime they didn’t commit. I would not say no way. She had been drinking too and alcohol can make people do things they wouldn't normally do especially when emotions are high like having a fight with someone and can cause an over reaction. Everyone needs to wait to hear all the evidence and not decide ahead of time who is guilty. Look at the Nicolai Mui case, bunch of people drinking, over reaction by a guy with a knife and a teen dead. If the same scenario happened without alcohol, it may have been a lot different outcome

Dan Abrahams acting like systemic corruption and official criminal activity isn’t a thing cause it may involve several people is laughable- considering it’s more the norm than the exception - councils, HOA, FBI, CIA, military, medical professions, the judiciary l, all other levels of government. And it’s at an all time high across All western countries.
In Australia a few years back there was a 99-year suppression order placed on naming/exposing the (seemingly ritual) sexual abuse of children by high level officials & well known figures across the legislature/judiciary/media and so on. The reason being that “it would cause the people to lose faith in the judiciary” & I quote.
If you name then - as has been done by several people in Australia- you will be jailed.
Well use your imagination of what this actually means - just like Epstein island and similar - used to blackmail those in positions of power & influence (who they can’t bribe). And then letting these people dictate terms for your lives - and that’s how the puppet mastery is achieved. Hence the levels of corruption and compromise at the highest levels are off the charts.
And that’s just the Shiite simple version of what’s going on.
Though somewhere you’ll always find a grabbler 🇮🇱 behind it. That’s just a simple fact. And especially in the West.

He also had a two-inch gash at the back of his head, yet there was little to no blood at the crime scene. Furthermore, they claim, marks on his arms were consistent with dog bites."
"Brian Albert and his wife ripped up their basement floor and sold their home, which had belonged to the Albert family for years, a few months after O’Keefe’s death, according to Read’s defense team. Their German shepherd Chloe, who reportedly had a history of biting people, was rehomed not long after."

For the record - It would only take 2-3 cops (who are related to the ppl in the house) to be “in on the cover up”. Everyone else involved was just trusting in the words of their coworkers.
Proctor (the lead investigator) lied about when he picked up Karen’s car. He wrote in his report that he picked it up over an hour later than he actually did which, if true, would have made it impossible to plant her taillight at the scene. When called out on the time discrepancy because of security camera footage Proctor doubled down and said the time the camera is wrong “because of daylight savings time”. It wasn’t until the defense got the police report from the town that Karen’s car was towed from that Proctor finally backed down and called it a scrivener’s error.
Also, there just coincidentally happens to be over 15 minutes of missing security footage from the Canton Police Department where her car was stored.

What about his wounds? Why did Brian Albert never come out of his house, and yet he called the chief investigator, Proctor, who lied about knowing the home owners. Why did the police never seek a warrant and search the house? The owner's sister-in-law Googled after 2 am "How long for a person to die in the cold". @@Violet_Lotus_ 300 years ago they went on a witchhunt for a Proctor, who exactly are you expecting to investigate a very odd murder? Joe Friday? Columbo? You're in the weeds if you think because he knows a few people interconnected to the case or made some guy jokes it means he's in on some great conspiracy. Making it about some greater issue like "police corruption" is ridiculous. How ironic it is in that about 30 years ago or so hot flashing PTA democratic moms started lobbying government for more restrictions when it came to drug drivers. People cut from the same cloth wanted tougher laws on crime in general and literally gave up rights(without asking the rest of us)in exchange for a police state. Now you want to let someone who obviously hit another human being with her car, killing him, tried to conceal the evidence , go. Not a whole lot of objectivity in your life, is there? You're literally following the misguided ramblings of someone who identifies as a sex goblin. You think because the media is pro Karen Read it means she's innocent. The media is pulling a con. They believe they could tell you anything and you'd believe it. The more scooby doo it is the better. BIGGER picture.
