I feel like that Di Maria substitution really helped France turn the game. Mbappe with a legendary hat-trick after Argentinas's defence was on top of him.
acuna posed zero threat to France so they didn't even bother giving him a man to mark him so they were a man up for the remainder of the regular time, that substitution could've single handedly cost them the world cup

Personally I think alot of the world cup was very scripted and was more of a pantomime than a football tournament. And the fact the tournament played perfectly into messis hands making it more suspicious.
