How did he become so knowledgeable? I have to get on his level or beyond Insha’allah. May Allah reward him in this life and the next.
Ameen.
May Allah bless you with the knowledge you desire and beyond.
Ameen
Why do you want to be knowledgeable?
To want knowledge is praiseworthy, to seek to outdo another is ego.
Precisely what Rumi preaches against.
Learn humility then learn knowledge.
Keep in mind the intention of gaining knowledge, and doing anything at all; to please Allah, not just for knowledge's (or any given action's) sake
