Alhamdulillah dear brother...a very beautiful reminder...
I'm in awe! I'm so thankful to Allah that I stumbled upon this.
I am crying. We are all searching for the Source, the Never Ending Light, the Love and the Purpose. Abdal Hakim is the true gem of our time. I have truly seen the beauty of the Islam whenever I forgot about the ego. His words are so accurate. Its no wonder that ALL spiritual teachers are talking about the present moment. All they need is the sight. Just to notice Allah in the moment, the present, only one we have. Whenever I am caught up in this turbulent life, filled with anxiety and hurry, the mind starts to overthink. It really moves me from the present moment to the imagination....Thats when I fall in terms of feeling closseness to Allah. So, we should be appreaciating the present moments, because its the best way of seeing Allah in everything.
I was in tears too.
