Beautiful words tabarak Allah “Behind the incomprehensible show of things there is only the divine mercy and grace and power and perfection. Just behind the surface of everything there are the names of Allah swt nothing makes anything happen in this world other than the one true creator and this is the essence of tawheed”
Alhamdu lillah, we are privileged to have The Shaykh around us. The Shahkh is considered by many scholars as The Al- Gazali of our time. May Allah grant the Shaykh a long life and enable him to serve the Ummah with his immense knowledge and love of Islam and teachings of The Prophet (saw), Ameen.

Sometime it’s not what someone says but how he says that enters the heart to move someone to tears and I feel blessed to hear our brother deliver this calming khutba.The blessing of Allah be on you and your family .may Allah protect you and give you a long life in good health

This is her (Maryam alayha salaam) greatness; her vulnerability giving birth alone but her absolute obedience to the command of her Lord."
I cannot imagine the isolation she must have felt and the certainty she had to her Lord's command. SubhanAllah!

Re-listening to this on a Monday, the birth day of the Beloved, upon him be peace; at a time of the horrors of genocide taking place in Gaza, Palestine. The message resonates today, and remains so as we face our personal or ummatic hardships. JazakAllāhu khayr for the enduring reminders. May Allāh bless & increase Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad; his family & the community at Cambridge Mosque. May Allāh grant us all ease, steadfastness & a successful return to Him. Allāhumma āmīn.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Allaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oothu bika minal-hammi walhazani, wal’ajzi walkasali, walbukhli waljubni, wa dhala’id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijaal
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sadness, from weakness and from laziness, from miserliness and from cowardice, from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men (i.e. others).
